The great ammo and area of effect nerfs caused a lot of top tier popular weapons to cause from grace. Some Tenno believing they are no long worth using. While in some cases this is true, in the case of the Kuva Bramma it most certainly is not.
Today we're going to re-explore this absolute beast of a weapon and update the guide to 2023 standards. We are also going to explore how ammo mutations work in combination with the Carrier Sentinel Ammo Case mod and the Scavenger auras.
We'll have a introductory level setup where I recommend a mod I never thought I would but also endgame setups meant for high level steel path gameplay.

Yes. That's how you can easily get headshots with the bramma.
It can trigger galvanized scope if you skillful enough.

Energized munitions from Helminth adds 75% ammo efficiency pairs really well with any of the low ammo weapons.

Just got my Kuva Bramma today! Been playing WF since 2015 and only just gotten semi-seriously into it the last few months. Your videos have helped a ton in figuring out the mystery that is modding!

I finally got mine to level 40
Had it for months, but I was going through a slump and didn't want to do an hour of ESO runs.
Glad to say that it's finally done. +1 weapon slot for me 😄
You need a friend with a nuke frame, you can level a weapon in two rounds, maybe 1 if they are efficient and you have booster.
@@googleuser859 Or the semi AFK strat at ELARA Jupiter SP, using crews, with affinity booster you can usually reach level 30 (if only leveling up 1 thing) in 5 minutes

And hell it’s actually faster in my experience to do normal Sanctuary onslaught and not elite
That ammo nerf was so stupid ? What in they right mind thought it was ok to give a weapon 5 fxckin ammo , they truly make dxmb moves sometimes
Just be happy they are still usable. They nerfed Synoid Simulor years ago and it was only of the most unique weapons in this game.
I got this one in Circuit the other day, and actually ended up outright forgetting this thing existed before that, shockingly enough. Probably didn’t help that I didn’t have it modded to its full potential 😅

I'll try my best to explain why it looks like Ammo Case is overriding the Exilus ammo mutation mods...
Along with Ammo Case's other features, it also acts as just like Vacuum but only for ammo drops. This allows Ammo Case to automatically pull ammo drops from 11.5m away. Just like Vacuum does for other loot. Since the sentinel is doing the ammo gathering for you, any mods equipped on the sentinel that perform ammo mutation will take precedence. The exception is Vigilante Supplies as it needs to be equipped your primary weapon's Exilus slot in order to function. Once that mutation is performed, the ammo drop is essentially "consumed" and cannot be passed down to the warframe and its weapons.
The main caveat of Ammo Drop (aside from the 2-second delay) is if your sentinel dies, you lose the benefits of Ammo Case. If you don't have any ammo mods equipped on your weapon(s) when that happens, you'll feel the full wrath of DE's crazy decision to nerf ammo. Especially in a weapon like Bramma.
There's also what I'll call a bug in Ammo Case where if you only need 1 more quantity of ammo to fill up your max ammo storage for your equipped weapon, Ammo Case will pick up as much ammo as needed to fulfill that requirement. However, if Ammo Case is in the middle of its 2-second delay and picks up more than 1 ammo drop, once that single quantity of ammo has been converted the remaining pickups will disappear from existence. They will not drop back down on the ground like in the case of Energy orbs or the like. Ammo Case truly consumes everything it picks up. That behavior in this case negatively compounds the issue of DE's crazy decision to nerf ammo.
As far as sentinels, the vacuum mod seems to help a lot as far as making sure you can get all the relevant ammos picked up. I like to run that along with ammo mutation mods on this kuva and the zarr. It is still ammo barren on lower mob crowd missions occasionally though.
still been using it with Energized munitions ,along with the parazon mod blood for ammo one mercy kill not hard to get for full ammo on murcy kill, needs some duration, blood for ammo comes in handy on those missions you are restricted on how frequent you can drop ammo just get one mercy kill and there you have it full ammo
The problem is that 5-6 arrows are sometimes not enough for one enemy and you have to switch to secondary or melee weapons
What's funny is the bramma can literally compete with incarnon weapons interms of efficiency if it was unnerfed maybe even outshine them haha. that was weapon was so stupid when it came out.

Violence destroyed by a greater Violence
Everyone in my group dogged me for using my Kuva Bramma, until after playing a Defense where I got 1194 kills with my Hydroid Prime and Dual Stubbas. The highest killer, who normally killed the most, before I got better at the game and I got into Steel Path, he only got 192 kills. I use Ammo Case and Ammo Mutation on it, so I can almost always have a few arrows and switching weapons and relying a little bit more on my abilities to weaken enemies. Even wave 20 enemies die with a shot or 2, but I normally shoot it in a group and get multiple with a arrow or 2. I don't use it much, but it is a fun weapon for something different. I really don't think it works for high level Steel Path. It is 1 of my favorite, even though I said that.
What more do I want? a kuva bramma level 999 build.

@@keatonwarren4981 i stopped the game a month ago xD,i think u just need to experiment with some mods and try to optimize crit,i run nidus with teeming virulance to red crit and hammershot with some other crit damage mods,to maximize damage
This weapon will made somewhat of a comeback once the pet rework is done

Ammo efficiency helminth ability on a tank Warframe?
A current build nice i still havent used any old aoe meta weapons got a 38 bramma 2 days before aoe nerf announcement and only now picking up the zarr and ogris never going to use them because im unlucky with drops i have went 40mins without energy drop and 20 mins no ammo drop and ammo never drops enough even if i only shoot packs of 10 or more dont see how you can keep up arcanes to do damage with 5 shots a min or more majority of the time lol

@@Philosufical yeah I know of it but I can't really focus everything on that 1 thing yet I will need it for ogris arbi build so that one weapon I will get good use with but zarr and bramma have too little out of energized imo

can someone recommend a bramma build with 40% impact? i used zephyr prime, so....

i rolled a +92.6% cc, +70.5% cd, +47.5% heat, -20% mag cap riven for it should I reroll or keep mr leyzar
The weapon's mag is already really bad, with that -20% it would dig it further into the grave. Personally, i would reroll it.
@@Alex-uk6ey Bows dont use magazine, they draw ammo directly from ammo pool. Maybe if you get a -51% mag it will stop it from firing an arrow, but with -20% you should be fine.

@@Zelsius00 I'm pretty sure that the minimum mag capacity is 1 so regardless of how much -% mag you get, you'll still have that 1

I did it for mastery. Anything for mastery.
The ammo is a non issue if you know how to pick your shots. 5 is plenty if you use ammo mutation in exilus slot and carrier if you really want. I solo netracell in a couple minutes with this weapon exclusively. It is the best weapon in the game for all content besides level cap and boss killing. Enemies killed per minute is unmatched because the AOE is so ungodly high. Prime with nukor and use your melee for boss killing. Don’t do level cap, it is so draining.
how do i get rid of the knowckback
Use the Arbitration mod [Cautious shot] or use some other form of status/knockdown immunity on your warframe
If you're gonna run Frostbite use a sentinel with a cold beam to charge it, way better than bulding it on the Brama.

Idk I think these kuva weapons are a slap to our face. Cuz Incarnon weapons make it easier to adjust your mods to specifics whereas you HAVE to have a source of ammo with these kuva craps. It's really annoying and disheartening
They make a dxmb nerf just so we could focus on incarnons, and wonder why I constantly stop playing , they really nerf shxt when we having fun , nerfn shxt like we complained about to being good? Lofl
