The combination of his first touch, ball control, body feints, dribbling, awareness, intelligence, passing, finishing (with both feet) and set piece skills made him a very special player. How many players in footballing history could tick all of those boxes and to such a high standard? Also, never forget his mental strength which allowed him to play until the age of 37, despite all of his crippling injuries.

He was the reason why as a young lad I was out in the garden kicking the ball high and trying to control it effortlessly.. Tough question. I think baggio was more consistent with his touch. Bergkamp could make insane things happen out of nowhere, and with his size it was a treat to watch. But I still think baggios touch was unrivaled.

So he made vertical assists, received the cross or moved the ball towards the goal area by dribbling or making triangles with teammates and then he shoot himself. You can see him cross while he was at Inter, when he played often from midfield going to the left side of the attack.
