Officer of the Year - Adam Chinnock

Inspired by his father's service as a volunteer firefighter, Adam Chinnock embraced the call to help his community and became a volunteer firefighter over 10 years ago. Now serving as a Lieutenant, Adam finds fulfillment in mentoring and teaching. "I do enjoy helping firefighters develop and grow," he shares. "I do have a passion for teaching people."
Recently recognized as Officer of the Year, Adam remains humble about the honor. "I'm grateful the firefighters voted for me," he says earnestly. "To be selected is an honor, but I think every officer here is very deserving of that."
For Adam, firefighting isn't just a duty - it's a calling to contribute meaningfully to your community. "I think anybody who has the opportunity and is able to-not necessarily as a firefighter, but to help our community-I think is something we should all strive to do."
