To be fair you make it sound like few times, only because SF3 is from the 90s, but actually he only missed from 1 game from SF3 to 5. That's not few. There are chars missing from SF3, 4 and 5 like Sodom... that's a relevant absence.

I want them to bring back Remy but under one specific condition: he’s the only character that can use charge partition which can give people a rushdown Guile if they want to work for it.

@@KaitouKaiju I feel like her aesthetic and color scheme so fits the RE engine style that not having Viper seems impossible for Makoto I think her playstyle could translate really well to the sf6 meta.
Makoto used to be my main. A lot of what I appreciated about Makoto was how well she functioned in Street Fighter 3. I feel like she didn't transition quite as well in Street Fighter 4. Might have been my fault, though, to be honest. Whether Makoto fits into Street Fighter 6, that depends how her kit functions with the new mechanics. Not too familiar with Street Fighter 6, outside of the flashier moves. If she does return in 6, it'll be interesting to see how they change her, or how she adapts to the new mechanics.
I am honestly not that hype about her. Don't get me wrong, she is one of my favourite character but I think her growing up in SF5 made her lose a lot of her appeal and energy. I honestly don't want to deal with an even older Sakura, the made her proportions really weird and not her in 5 and I honestly don't want this version of Sakura back (like why is she so curvy, it's not like she went through puberty between 4 and 5)

I agree with your list, especially Necro. I just recently started to play SF3 for the first time, and Necro quickly became my favorite character (even if I don’t know what I’m doing lol). Also, I’d at least be a bit curious if they brought back a character like Eagle or Ingrid (mainly because I’ve never played as either before but I’m curious as to how they’d be updated).

It can be as simple as “his restaurant is struggling so he gets back into fighting to win some money/promote his restaurant” I’m sure they can come up with a more interesting reason than that if they wanted to. But it’s that easy. And to be honest, they don’t even need a story reason, they can just put him in the game. Oni in SF4 is just a “what if” character who doesn’t actually exist in the canon story. Or looking at other games, Kazumi from Tekken canonically died before the events of Tekken 1 but she’s still playable in Tekken 7. You don’t necessarily need a story reason for a character to be in the game.
Akuma is so important that it's not surprising they'd include a non-Canon version of him. And Tekken just take it's canon more losely. Now yes it would be easy to come up with a reason. Several character in 3 were basically involved because they wanted to mind their own business but Gill's messed with their stuffs/loved one and they had to get involved.
Just Sean. He has a US championship under his belt now and I'm hyped to see how his movement reflects that. Also wondering if he embraces his family jiu-jitsu more or develops his own fighting style without copying anyone.
Man, Sean should be got an improvement from SFIII Third Strike abomination. Just give 2nd Attack Sean with new style of Matsuda's BJJ and Ken's Ansatsuken.
His story would be pretty good. He's at a crossroads in his life where he either proves to his big sis Laura that he's no Ken wannabe or he becomes the latter.
And he already fits SF6 style so well, he really has to return. Just hope they make his moveset flashy and stand out, because they can very quickly turn him into a generic placeholder.
I think you missed the most important thing for Dan, and why *this game* is the most important game for Dan to get into. Dan's pride and joy, his Saikyo dojo that is failing because he is a walking marketing disaster, will finally be able to open it's doors to students! Having real students would just make Dan so happy, and for once you have a vast army of expendable characters (the custom fighters in their open world mode) ready to walk in those doors and take Dan as their sensei!
Good list, man. I think I'm one of the few who would also like to see Adon come back. Don't hate too hard, I've just always had fun with the character.
Props to a Gen pick. I love characters like that. Zeku seemed similar because of the 2 styles. Makoto, Dudley for sure. I'd like a boxer that's not a charge character. Not a fan of charging characters(aside from Gen whose mix-up charge move in his second form). Fei Long was popular but I think others will fill his Rekka-style move-set. Menat is such a unique character. Not good with her at all but love her concept.
I just came here to see if he mentions Gen. Gen is BY far the most interesting character in the franchise. In fact, I’d say he’s the best character in ANY fighting game.
Sean (it’s definitely time for us to see more trained and grown Sean), Eagle, Vega, Fei Long, Violent Ken, Sodom, Rolento, Alex, Dudley, and it’s finally time to fit Hagar in with Gief and let them battle it out.
I know he was just in SFV but Zeku was such a successful new character I'd love to see what they do with him. I know its not as likely though. With his expanded moveset he's a resource intensive character to develop and with kimberly in the game I wonder if we'd see much more bushin-ryu rep (Guy included) at least near the start of the games life cycle.

Dude i do agreed with all of your list i love Hakan. I had so much fun playing against my friend using Hakan, tho am just your average player and my friends were casual noobs mostly lol and Makoto. I love how fun Makoto is on SF4. Necro is a very unique character also along Menat! I will add Eagle to the list also. He is sooo cool. Am super excited for SF6 like I was for SF4. I did not like SF5 at all.
Makoto and Menat would make great returns, but I really want to see how are grapplers gonna work in SF6, while we are yet to see the Gief, and most likely T.Hawk ain’t coming back, anything in the side of el Fuerte to R.Mika would make me very happy. Also, yes, bring back the Saikyo master! And older half competent Dan that has master the art of stillness or some mock-up of what Ryu is doing would be awesome 👏🏽!
The 3 characters i want to see in sf6 1. Urien I think in the re engine his muscles and aegis would look awesome. Plus I just think he's cool 2. Q I play him in 3s and I think if he came back in a different mask and fighting style would be super interesting like he was upgraded or something like that 3. Viper SO much more than most, due in large part to her being a feature new character, then carried into the story of 5, hinted at as DLC, then never given. Time for a comeback.
I would love to see Makoto, and Dudley, those are my top 2 personal picks, I would also love to see Hugo, Fei Long (even though I know he's never coming back), and another personal pick is G, I would like to see where they take the character, and what his correlation with Q is.
Dudley is definitely at the top of my list. But I'd like to see them bring back (or spin off, like with Kimberly, Lilly, etc.) some of the really unknown SF/FF characters.
I just want Dudley, Sean, Elena, Laura, Crimson Viper, Menat, Karin, & Urien. Dudley & Menat are probably safe (maybe Urien & Karin, but there’s room for debate for those two), but the others are a coin-toss. If we’re talking dream picks, mine is the true realization of King Cobra as depicted in his concept art before Ono & Co. turned him into Rufus.

I'm a Hakan player and I approve of this message! Also, I want Alex back in. Gotta have all the protags in 1 game! Bring back Sean! I'm sure we'd all love to see his development. Hell, mix his kit a bit with a few Brazilian jujitsu moves ala Laura to really spice up his playstyle. And finally, kinda a controversial one.. I wanna see Remy again. I know he didnt really have anything to do with the main story and "he's just a guile clone", well so was Charlie in the Alpha series and look what they did with his style in SF5. I'd love to see what kind of redesign they'd have for his moveset! Besides, shotos can have 4-5+ characters and that doesnt bother anyone, let's see more sonic boom style!
I love both characters but honestly I really don't want to see them grow up more. Like SF5 Sakura already lost a lot of her appeal and initial energy in my opinion, I don't know why they made her proportion so curvy and her animation so soft, it's not like she went through puberty between 4 and 5, but she still got a chun body for no reason. I don't want to see the same happen with Makoto.
It seemed like C Viper was gonna be a mainstay, so it's weird that Capcom hasn't brought her back. As for my other picks, Dudley is my personal number one pick, followed by Remy. But I'd love to see if El Fuerte and Rufus could get a redemption arc in SF6

I thought I was the only one regarding Necro. I’m a Zangief main, because I like grapplers. When Gief wasn’t in SF3, did I go for Alex or Hugo? No. I tried out Dudley, Necro, and Elena and loved them all. I hope they all return for SF6.
I mained C. Viper, Juri, and Hakan in Super Street Fighter IV. I want them back and I want Q back. Also Yun gives me hip hop vibes so he should get in. I also feel like Laura is going to come back.
I want Urien and Q so bad. I just love characters with a big charge dash tackle, and Aegis is just gotta be the most fun thing in any video game if you get a good setup with it.

I think they could reintroduce him with a new/tweak style so as not to be so similar to Guile. An Older Remy could've refined his style to be more aggressive like Nash

Alex will def be there at some point. It’s a no brainer that he needs to be. He was the main char of third strike and his story still has potential. Maybe have him as the red/blue powered up version we saw in his 3rd strike arcade ending. Also Necro, Makoto and Dudley are no brainers
I really think they should add a Rival Schools and Darkstalkers rep in the game. Having Akira return and seeing either Felicia or Jon Talbain in a Street Fighter game would be INSANELY COOL. Also, I would like to see Karin and Cody eventually make it back. Not on Season 1 of DLC, since I feel there's a lot more characters that people have been begging for (coughCVipercough), but it would be nice to see them in Season 2 or 3.
I want to see Doctrine Dark from the Street Fighter EX series. He looked so cool with a super unique moveset. Not to mention some of his moves were censored for being too graphic lol.

i feel like urien is just such a sick character that he kinda needs to be a staple in the series. very unique super, unique design, cool villain that isnt related to bison at all. hes one of those characters that i love seeing in tourney, 3rd strike or SF5 honestly. i love cody too, specifically not SF5 cody tho. i think the "knife in the center of the round" mechanic is really awesome, and his decision making of whether to grab the knife or just attack the opponent is a very unique idea across fighting games in general, i think. plus, he has a great personality and the "mayor of a city thats about as strong as akuma" shtick is just hilarious. last one id say is also makoto. shes my 3rd strike main so im biased but i love her concept. only high committal movement, so small stuff. plus being a semi-grappler is really sick, and like you said all of her supers are awesome. she could use a redesign visually, to be honest - she's kind of just a girl in a gi and i think she would benefit from a cool visual rework, but yeah shes a favorite of mine.
Here are some weirder characters that I really want to see come back: Eagle - Unique character that you could do a lot with or keep practically the same Falke - Cool character (with an awesome theme) that I think should get another chance with a new/revamped moveset Kolin - Could be an opportunity for character development, could be fun with an adjusted moveset, and one of the few ice users in the series. Also, who is her fire equivalent? Laura - I know some people hate her, but her slowing-moving projectile is a cool concept and it would be fun to see her interactions with Sean (if he got in). Nash - Very popular character in the early SFV days, deserved better in the SFV Story Mode. And Jon Talbain because why not.
I need to see Elena get in Street Fighter 6 i loved the 3s version of the caracter and we see some references to her in the world tour trailer where we can see a white haired girl using Juri's moves
I feel like a Remy return would actually be sick if done right imo. I can easily see him being a mixture of zoning and rushdown if they further elaborate on cold blue kick and give him a few new moves to further separate him from Sagat and Guile.

There's at least one serious concern about bringing Viper back and that's how badly she goes with streaming (and thus Esports) as she just creates a billion noisy particles. I don't think anybody actually enjoyed her ability to strobe the screen constantly either. I don't know how strong her mixup game would be if you could see what was going on but that's pretty much the main thing that will be changed.
I'd like to see the kids(Sakura, Sean, Karin, Yun&Yang, Ibuki, Makoto) come back in some way even if they aren't playable (lots of opportunity in world tour mode). A weird one would be to see an older Mel (he must be close to 16 now) playable.

After everything I've seen with 6 so far, I really want a lot of these characters, especially necro and Hakan. I actually have faith in Capcom for the first time since I started playing. I think they can do a good job with them.
I wouldn't mind seeing some of the more out-there picks brought back. Hakan, Necro, or maybe even like...a better version of Twelve? Thirteen? But I think out of all of them Sean kinda needs to be in here. The timelines match up for him to be a better fighter under Ken's teachings, and his own story might have an interesting mix with Ken being a fugitive now. After Laura got to take a lot of his limelight in 5, I think he deserves another shot.

We don´t have any characters from SF3, SF1 (except Ryu and Ken), SF Alpha, Rival Schools or Final Fight and very few from SF4 (Juri) and SF5 (Rashid, Ed and Luke). The 4 bosses of SF2 plus Fei Long and T. Hawk (New Challengers) are absent too. They have lots of character options to add as dlc/season pass. Take your Picks!
(TL;DR I'm a sucker for 3S low tiers) The funny thing about 3S, the lower tiers were always more interesting than the higher tiers. Like yeah, you've got Ryu and Ken, the classics, you've got Akuma, but you look a little down and you see Alex, who is a very interesting character with how he chased Gill, you've got Urien, who was very interesting with how he wanted to take control over the world and the Illuminati from Gill, you've got Necro, whose body was completely restructed as the "prototype" of Twelve and is now running away so the organization who changed him completely doesn't kill him, but look even further down the tier list and you see Q, who's the mysterious seemingly human(?) guy with a mask and doesn't seem to be able to talk, the big guy looks and sounds like he's in constant pain and confusion, and can't talk to anyone or call for help because everyone's constantly running away from him (Look at his intro in 3S), or if there's a different reason for them to be running away. Look at Twelve, the "perfect warrior" (Look at Twelve's ending, if you can even get it) who can melt, stretch and even change his limbs, and only talks in binary code. Could've once been human like Necro, but had his body changed around similarly.

In a series that glorifies battle, he is a character that stands against it, though in doing do, he becomes a participant. He is ideologically opposed to those who fight for fun or for glory, meaning he would loathe someone like Zangief. I also just really want to see Twelve again. No, Eleven doesn't count. That character is an insult.
- Makoto, Dudley, C. Viper, Menat: Yes please! - Dan & Rose: As long as they're based on SF5. - Gen: The man has had leukemia for years now, they need to finish that plotline. Either he gets better somehow or he had a new apprentice before he died. An apprentice is more likely than Gen IMO, but I doubt that Capcom will kill him off. - Ibuki: Sure, she's a staple nowadays. Her techniques lean into ninjutsu while Bushinryu is about taijutsu. - Necro: I would've rather had him on the base roster over Dhalsim (I would've replaced some of the SF2 chars in general but oh well), but I wouldn't mind him appearing later on. - Hakan: I'm down as long as they give him a helmet, I don't like that haircut.
I mained Dudley in SF4 and had a pocket Makoto in that game too. Needless to say both of those characters is who I was strongest with and I definitely would be happy if they returned to SF6. How funny it is that these are the first two characters you mention.
I'm going to be that one guy. Why don't they let Bison stay dead for one game? They made this whole thing in SF5 of "Bison has no bodies left to go to, we've blown up his base. The nightmare is finally over" thing, and it'd be really nice to let it stick for a while. If they *wanted* to have Bison's influence persist into SF6, bring back Ed or Falke who are now dealing with ghost bison, kind of how Rock Howard is dealing with his Geese shit in King of Fighters, let more of Bison's kit shine in through their stuff, could be fun.
I agree with you on this list. The characters I want to see make a comeback would be Yun and Yang (Ik Jamie is in the game, but story mode and gameplay wise) and Hugo. That's all.
I'd like to see the IIIrd Strike folks show up. Urien, Dudley, Makoto, Necro, Q. They were pretty rad and fun to use, even for a guy like me who has enjoyed Street Fighter more from the sidelines than being die hard in it. Giving them another chance, basically.

Dudley for sure needs to come back. As far as I can tell, there's no boxing archetype in the starting roster of SF6. That in itself is pretty bizarre.

I agree with your list, especially Necro. I just recently started to play SF3 for the first time, and Necro quickly became my favorite character (even if I don’t know what I’m doing lol). Also, I’d at least be a bit curious if they brought back a character like Eagle or Ingrid (mainly because I’ve never played as either before but I’m curious as to how they’d be updated).
In terms of realistic choices I really want Dudley and Makoto
As a wild card, I’d say Eagle. I think a modern take on Eagle would be cool to see.

And to be honest, they don’t even need a story reason, they can just put him in the game.
Oni in SF4 is just a “what if” character who doesn’t actually exist in the canon story.
Or looking at other games, Kazumi from Tekken canonically died before the events of Tekken 1 but she’s still playable in Tekken 7.
You don’t necessarily need a story reason for a character to be in the game.
Akuma is so important that it's not surprising they'd include a non-Canon version of him. And Tekken just take it's canon more losely.
Now yes it would be easy to come up with a reason. Several character in 3 were basically involved because they wanted to mind their own business but Gill's messed with their stuffs/loved one and they had to get involved.
Just Sean. He has a US championship under his belt now and I'm hyped to see how his movement reflects that. Also wondering if he embraces his family jiu-jitsu more or develops his own fighting style without copying anyone.
Man, Sean should be got an improvement from SFIII Third Strike abomination. Just give 2nd Attack Sean with new style of Matsuda's BJJ and Ken's Ansatsuken.
His story would be pretty good. He's at a crossroads in his life where he either proves to his big sis Laura that he's no Ken wannabe or he becomes the latter.
He has a what under his belt. Dream maybe?
And he already fits SF6 style so well, he really has to return. Just hope they make his moveset flashy and stand out, because they can very quickly turn him into a generic placeholder.
I think you missed the most important thing for Dan, and why *this game* is the most important game for Dan to get into.
Dan's pride and joy, his Saikyo dojo that is failing because he is a walking marketing disaster, will finally be able to open it's doors to students! Having real students would just make Dan so happy, and for once you have a vast army of expendable characters (the custom fighters in their open world mode) ready to walk in those doors and take Dan as their sensei!
Hakan, Dudley, Alex and Q/G better be on this list :)))

Props to a Gen pick. I love characters like that. Zeku seemed similar because of the 2 styles. Makoto, Dudley for sure. I'd like a boxer that's not a charge character. Not a fan of charging characters(aside from Gen whose mix-up charge move in his second form). Fei Long was popular but I think others will fill his Rekka-style move-set. Menat is such a unique character. Not good with her at all but love her concept.
I just came here to see if he mentions Gen. Gen is BY far the most interesting character in the franchise. In fact, I’d say he’s the best character in ANY fighting game.

I know he was just in SFV but Zeku was such a successful new character I'd love to see what they do with him. I know its not as likely though. With his expanded moveset he's a resource intensive character to develop and with kimberly in the game I wonder if we'd see much more bushin-ryu rep (Guy included) at least near the start of the games life cycle.
Zeku is a stance character, though. So they could bring him back for that. Since I don't think Gen will come back.

Dude i do agreed with all of your list i love Hakan. I had so much fun playing against my friend using Hakan, tho am just your average player and my friends were casual noobs mostly lol and Makoto. I love how fun Makoto is on SF4. Necro is a very unique character also along Menat! I will add Eagle to the list also. He is sooo cool. Am super excited for SF6 like I was for SF4. I did not like SF5 at all.
Makoto and Menat would make great returns, but I really want to see how are grapplers gonna work in SF6, while we are yet to see the Gief, and most likely T.Hawk ain’t coming back, anything in the side of el Fuerte to R.Mika would make me very happy. Also, yes, bring back the Saikyo master! And older half competent Dan that has master the art of stillness or some mock-up of what Ryu is doing would be awesome 👏🏽!

Viper SO much more than most, due in large part to her being a feature new character, then carried into the story of 5, hinted at as DLC, then never given. Time for a comeback.
I would love to see Makoto, and Dudley, those are my top 2 personal picks, I would also love to see Hugo, Fei Long (even though I know he's never coming back), and another personal pick is G, I would like to see where they take the character, and what his correlation with Q is.
Dudley is definitely at the top of my list. But I'd like to see them bring back (or spin off, like with Kimberly, Lilly, etc.) some of the really unknown SF/FF characters.

Sean should definitly come back, I'm honestly shocked he isn't already in the game given how he already fits the SF6 art style perfectly, Dudley is also a character I want to see come back, the rest of them though ... Not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of any of them. Especially Elena, she looks really uncanny.
With 6 picking up after III.3 and featuring Gill and his organization, it would make no sense to not bring back Urien.

I'm a Hakan player and I approve of this message! Also, I want Alex back in. Gotta have all the protags in 1 game! Bring back Sean! I'm sure we'd all love to see his development. Hell, mix his kit a bit with a few Brazilian jujitsu moves ala Laura to really spice up his playstyle. And finally, kinda a controversial one.. I wanna see Remy again. I know he didnt really have anything to do with the main story and "he's just a guile clone", well so was Charlie in the Alpha series and look what they did with his style in SF5. I'd love to see what kind of redesign they'd have for his moveset! Besides, shotos can have 4-5+ characters and that doesnt bother anyone, let's see more sonic boom style!

I love both characters but honestly I really don't want to see them grow up more. Like SF5 Sakura already lost a lot of her appeal and initial energy in my opinion, I don't know why they made her proportion so curvy and her animation so soft, it's not like she went through puberty between 4 and 5, but she still got a chun body for no reason. I don't want to see the same happen with Makoto.
I really hope to see another rival schools character! I love Akira so much, so if we get someone that have a similar playstyle, i will be very happy.

I thought I was the only one regarding Necro. I’m a Zangief main, because I like grapplers. When Gief wasn’t in SF3, did I go for Alex or Hugo? No. I tried out Dudley, Necro, and Elena and loved them all. I hope they all return for SF6.
Easily the two characters I want to return most are Makoto and Menat. Ibuki is up there as well, and Dudley.
Hakan is my favorite grappler I’ve ever played (Save for maybe Strive Potemkin), and I was real sad to see him gone in SFV.
I mained C. Viper, Juri, and Hakan in Super Street Fighter IV. I want them back and I want Q back. Also Yun gives me hip hop vibes so he should get in. I also feel like Laura is going to come back.

Alex will def be there at some point. It’s a no brainer that he needs to be. He was the main char of third strike and his story still has potential. Maybe have him as the red/blue powered up version we saw in his 3rd strike arcade ending.

i feel like urien is just such a sick character that he kinda needs to be a staple in the series. very unique super, unique design, cool villain that isnt related to bison at all. hes one of those characters that i love seeing in tourney, 3rd strike or SF5 honestly.
i love cody too, specifically not SF5 cody tho. i think the "knife in the center of the round" mechanic is really awesome, and his decision making of whether to grab the knife or just attack the opponent is a very unique idea across fighting games in general, i think. plus, he has a great personality and the "mayor of a city thats about as strong as akuma" shtick is just hilarious.
last one id say is also makoto. shes my 3rd strike main so im biased but i love her concept. only high committal movement, so small stuff. plus being a semi-grappler is really sick, and like you said all of her supers are awesome. she could use a redesign visually, to be honest - she's kind of just a girl in a gi and i think she would benefit from a cool visual rework, but yeah shes a favorite of mine.

Here are some weirder characters that I really want to see come back:
Eagle - Unique character that you could do a lot with or keep practically the same
Falke - Cool character (with an awesome theme) that I think should get another chance with a new/revamped moveset
Kolin - Could be an opportunity for character development, could be fun with an adjusted moveset, and one of the few ice users in the series. Also, who is her fire equivalent?
Laura - I know some people hate her, but her slowing-moving projectile is a cool concept and it would be fun to see her interactions with Sean (if he got in).
Nash - Very popular character in the early SFV days, deserved better in the SFV Story Mode.
And Jon Talbain because why not.

I think an updated on Hakan would be great. If they made him "cool" instead of goofy it would be interesting to see a new interpretation of his moves.
I feel like a Remy return would actually be sick if done right imo. I can easily see him being a mixture of zoning and rushdown if they further elaborate on cold blue kick and give him a few new moves to further separate him from Sagat and Guile.

There's at least one serious concern about bringing Viper back and that's how badly she goes with streaming (and thus Esports) as she just creates a billion noisy particles. I don't think anybody actually enjoyed her ability to strobe the screen constantly either.
I don't know how strong her mixup game would be if you could see what was going on but that's pretty much the main thing that will be changed.

After everything I've seen with 6 so far, I really want a lot of these characters, especially necro and Hakan. I actually have faith in Capcom for the first time since I started playing. I think they can do a good job with them.
I wouldn't mind seeing some of the more out-there picks brought back. Hakan, Necro, or maybe even like...a better version of Twelve? Thirteen? But I think out of all of them Sean kinda needs to be in here. The timelines match up for him to be a better fighter under Ken's teachings, and his own story might have an interesting mix with Ken being a fugitive now. After Laura got to take a lot of his limelight in 5, I think he deserves another shot.

We don´t have any characters from SF3, SF1 (except Ryu and Ken), SF Alpha, Rival Schools or Final Fight and very few from SF4 (Juri) and SF5 (Rashid, Ed and Luke). The 4 bosses of SF2 plus Fei Long and T. Hawk (New Challengers) are absent too.
They have lots of character options to add as dlc/season pass.

I'm a sucker for 3s's low tiers. I want Remy, Q, and Twelve to return the most out of anyone.
(TL;DR I'm a sucker for 3S low tiers)
The funny thing about 3S, the lower tiers were always more interesting than the higher tiers. Like yeah, you've got Ryu and Ken, the classics, you've got Akuma, but you look a little down and you see Alex, who is a very interesting character with how he chased Gill, you've got Urien, who was very interesting with how he wanted to take control over the world and the Illuminati from Gill, you've got Necro, whose body was completely restructed as the "prototype" of Twelve and is now running away so the organization who changed him completely doesn't kill him, but look even further down the tier list and you see Q, who's the mysterious seemingly human(?) guy with a mask and doesn't seem to be able to talk, the big guy looks and sounds like he's in constant pain and confusion, and can't talk to anyone or call for help because everyone's constantly running away from him (Look at his intro in 3S), or if there's a different reason for them to be running away. Look at Twelve, the "perfect warrior" (Look at Twelve's ending, if you can even get it) who can melt, stretch and even change his limbs, and only talks in binary code. Could've once been human like Necro, but had his body changed around similarly.

In a series that glorifies battle, he is a character that stands against it, though in doing do, he becomes a participant. He is ideologically opposed to those who fight for fun or for glory, meaning he would loathe someone like Zangief.
I also just really want to see Twelve again. No, Eleven doesn't count. That character is an insult.

- Dan & Rose: As long as they're based on SF5.
- Gen: The man has had leukemia for years now, they need to finish that plotline. Either he gets better somehow or he had a new apprentice before he died. An apprentice is more likely than Gen IMO, but I doubt that Capcom will kill him off.
- Ibuki: Sure, she's a staple nowadays. Her techniques lean into ninjutsu while Bushinryu is about taijutsu.
- Necro: I would've rather had him on the base roster over Dhalsim (I would've replaced some of the SF2 chars in general but oh well), but I wouldn't mind him appearing later on.
- Hakan: I'm down as long as they give him a helmet, I don't like that haircut.

I mained Dudley in SF4 and had a pocket Makoto in that game too. Needless to say both of those characters is who I was strongest with and I definitely would be happy if they returned to SF6. How funny it is that these are the first two characters you mention.

I'm going to be that one guy. Why don't they let Bison stay dead for one game? They made this whole thing in SF5 of "Bison has no bodies left to go to, we've blown up his base. The nightmare is finally over" thing, and it'd be really nice to let it stick for a while. If they *wanted* to have Bison's influence persist into SF6, bring back Ed or Falke who are now dealing with ghost bison, kind of how Rock Howard is dealing with his Geese shit in King of Fighters, let more of Bison's kit shine in through their stuff, could be fun.
I agree with you on this list. The characters I want to see make a comeback would be Yun and Yang (Ik Jamie is in the game, but story mode and gameplay wise) and Hugo. That's all.
