  • In this new Spanish lesson, we will learn essential words and phrases that will help you get around the airport and during your travels.
00:02 We start with "boleto de avión" - do you have your plane ticket ready? Make sure you have it in hand because you need it to board.
00:35 Then we talk about the "passport", a key piece if you're leaving the European Community. It's your international ID, so don't forget it at home - a passport is necessary to enter another country!
01:11 The "security check" is a critical stage at the airport. All passengers must pass through here. Make sure you have your items ready to make the process fast and efficient.
01:50 Having a proper "suitcase" is important. You can bring a "carry-on bag" on the plane, usually in the overhead compartment. Some airlines have size restrictions
02:25 You will collect your luggage from the "baggage conveyor belt". Each airport has its own system - be careful! The belt number will tell you where to find your belongings.
03:03 The "terminal" is the starting point of your journey. We'll meet you there before boarding the plane. Do you know which terminal you'll be in?
03:34 To check in, you must go to the "airline counter". Remember that it opens two hours before the flight. This is vital to secure your seat.
04:12 Inside the plane, you will find the "aisle of the plane", which allows for the movement of passengers. Your seat could be in the aisle or by the window - it's your choice!
04:49 You will hear the "flight announcement" to find the "boarding gate". This announcement is important! Make sure to be attentive so you don't miss your flight.
05:25 "Passport control" is another crucial step on international flights. You must show your passport to verify your identity before leaving the country.
06:01 Check in before boarding, either online or at the "airline counter". This process is essential to secure your place on the flight.
06:35 Let's talk about the "emergency exit". This is a crucial point in case of evacuation. Do you know where it is located on the plane? Pay attention to the crew's instructions.
07:15 And finally, let's mention the "stewardess", who will assist you during the flight. These professionals are in charge of offering you drinks and food on board, making sure you have a comfortable journey.
