On board MSC Preziosa we enjoy a Northland cruise to Iceland on Whitsun 2023! Starting from Hamburg, we visit Invergordon in Scotland, Reykjavik, Ísafjörður and Akureyri in Iceland as well as the picturesque Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands. In this episode we visit the Orkney Islands with you. After the tender trip to the port of Kirkwall, we take the coach to the famous stone circle of Brodgar, which is one of the most historically significant of its kind. After a good look around, we continue to a secluded cove from where we can catch a glimpse of the island's picturesque cliffs. Back on board we enjoy the departure from Kirkwall, before we finish this beautiful day with a delicious dinner in the service restaurant. We hope you have fun watching!

Da habt ihr ja wirklich Glück mit dem Wetter gehabt. Aus eigener Erfahrung kann ich sagen, der Ring of Brodgar sieht im Nieselregen nur halb so gut aus.😊
Dafür habt ihr mit Skara Bae wirklich was verpasst. Die zum Teil unterirdische, steinzeitliche Siedlung ist sehr beeindruckend und für mich ein absolutes Musthave auf den Orkneys.
Na ja, vielleicht beim nächsten Mal.😉
