    I see no hot or cold knobs (valves) in the video. Is there any issue with setting the knobs at less than maximum flow? Some reviews say the spray is too strong, which makes me wonder why those people didn't simply use the shower control knobs to reduce the flow rate.

      That could definitely be an option.

      @@theshowerheadstore : I read that the Hammerhead contains a flow regulator, to limit the flow to 1.8 or 2.5 gallons per minute. Can it negatively affect the life of the flow regulator if the hot & cold knobs set the flow to less than the 1.8 gpm or 2.5 gpm rate? How does the regulator component work?
      Also, if the knobs set the rate to less than the regulated limit, does that affect which holes of the shower head the water sprays from, resulting in an uneven or distorted spray?
      Thanks.

      @@brothermine2292 It wont affect the lifespan of the flow regulator placing it a lower setting. The regulator that we use, lets water flow up until 2.5 gallons per minute. Then it restricts it to only allow 2.5 gallons per minute to pass

    Thank you for your videos.
    Is there any shower head that consumes more water than having none installed (so just the tub/pipe that comes from the wall) ?

    • @theshowerheadstore
      @theshowerheadstore  Před 23 dny

      Thank you for your question. Larger shower heads, such as rain shower heads, typically use more water compared to other shower heads. However, if you use water directly from the pipe with no shower head, there is no flow restriction, so you will be getting the maximum water output.

    Why aren't these shower heads made in the United States. I saw on your other channel where they were made in China. I'm getting tired of products made in China! They're cheap, (as in crappy) and they always fall apart. If these shower heads were made in the US I would buy one!

      Hi Rascal and Shadow! We QA test all our products over here in the US so you can be assured they will work as expected and will last for a lifetime. We are so sure of it that we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all our shower heads. I would definitely suggest to try one out and give us your review! We would love that!

      Because they would cost 3-5 times as much, that's why.
      Most manufacturing has been moved overseas in the '80s and '90s, and what's left -- combined with high cost of labor -- is simply not competitive.
      Also, no, not everything that's made in China is "crappy".
      If you have some FukMeHo CHinese company making stuff in a Chinese factory for the sole purpose of selling as much as they can on Amazon and disappearing a year later, that's one thing.
      If you have an American company whose owner puts reputation (read: warranty) on the line, and chooses to use Chinese manufacturing, that's another story.
      Is it sad that they *have* to make stuff in China to actually be competitive? Absolutely. But that's just reality.

      @oseaghin Před 2 lety

      That being said, one of the Amazon reviews mentions that a different showerhead did not withstand a drop, and the company denied the claim. Which sucks.
      I was initially excited about these products, but I'm not so sure now. At least, e.g., Moen has a true lifetime guarantee.

    I am interested in getting a dual shower head which has the 8-inch rain head with the new 3-way diverter but which has the three functions(as shown in this video) on the 4-inch handheld. Is this available anywhere, and can you provide me the link to the product if so? Thank you.

      You can buy these parts individually at the showerheadstore.com. You’ll need the 3-spray handheld set, diverter and rain shower head.

    Does this fit the UK 1/2 inch standard shower hose ?

    • @theshowerheadstore
      @theshowerheadstore  Před 2 lety +1

      Both the female and male threads on all of our HammerHead Showers parts use the standard, universal threads in the USA. The male thread is 1/2" IPS, also called NPT (National Pipe Thread) or MPT (Male Pipe Thread). I am not completely sure of the UK threads would be the same.

    How do you remove the flow restrictor?

    • @theshowerheadstore
      @theshowerheadstore  Před 3 lety

      Hello Butch, the flow regulators are located beneath the rubber washer in the holder, so you would have to remove the hose from the holder and then the washer and you will see the flow regulator.

      @@theshowerheadstore I removed mine but the pinholes allow very little water out, it feels to soft to feel clean so I end up taking much longer showers , is there any other means of increasing the water pressure intensity?

    • @theshowerheadstore
      @theshowerheadstore  Před 2 lety

      @@dabblerdeluxe775 Hello Dabbler with the 3-Spray handheld, there is no setting to increase the water intensity apart from the 3 settings it self. The massage setting would be the hardest of the 3 sprays so, for water pressure intensity, I would recommend using this setting. Let me know if that helps.
