Owen deserves to have a personal life that is no one’s business. Instead of being gossiped & judged unfairly . I will pray for Owen .
I have a zero tolerance and respect for parents (both father & mother) who are super dads to 2 of their 3 children but completely neglect their 3rd child.
But let's say that he is right and Layla is not his daughter.
Does that give him an excuse to neglect her? No it doesn't.
That still don't justify his actions on what he is doing to that poor little girl.
Children should not have to suffer for their parent's sins.
I hope that someday Layla gets to have the father that she so rightfully deserves. And I am NOT referring to Owen Wilson. I have no respect for him as a person or an actor.
I love him as an actor and a writer and hope he has been able to find some inner peace. Addiction is no joke and happens to people from all walks of life.

People forget that Owen Wilson is not just a comedic actor but he co-wrote most of Wes Anderson’s films including The Royal Tennenbaums. OW is a creative force and the creative brain tends to torment the one who has it sadly. Hope he is doing better now.
He probably does not want to see the daughter because of the mom. When you are not with the mother she may want you to attach, just so she can alienate you to hurt you. The guy is already depressed so maybe they (mother and daughter) should just leave him be.

If a parent isn't interested in their child, then it's best they aren't forced to spend time with them, what good would that do the child to have to spend time with someone who doesn't love them or isn't interested.
