Wheelchair Lift No Power Fix & Troubleshooting Tips for BraunAbility or Ricon

In this video we go over some basic troubleshooting steps if you have a unresponsive wheelchair lift. These steps work for both BraunAbility and Ricon brand lifts. These are very common issues that prevent a powered wheelchair lift from responding or powering on.

I recently got a bus with a ricon k series lift, it doesn't have the interlock installed, and didn't have power going to the lift. I hooked the secondary battery directly to it and it still isn't working properly. When I hold deploy whatever mechanical bit will just slap against something, so I held it down and manualy released it. When I click stow nothing happens, when I click up/down it just makes a clicking sound.

I have a 1995 chevyg20 van with new braunlift in it can I get a manue to show me how to wire it up so I can use it I had a new motor put in it only 1000miles on it new battery new tires new brake drums on rear n newdisk brakes on front asking $4000

Thats funny, no they will not get you a wiring diagram, only a certified dealer can do so, and must have tons of DOT approved "safety" devices wired between the lift and van to insure constant failure!

First thing to look for is the Bruan label, if you got it, unbolt that piece of shit and push it out the door, let it crash down on the pavement, they are garbage and the company responsible for it don't give a damn about fixing, and they insure you can't either by making certain no schematics are available online, and refuse to sell any of their over inflated priced parts to the customer, dealer item only, and they just want to sell you a new minivan!
