- The Scout 50L and 30L Duffle is a single-layer, welded-seam, roll-top drybag - but not your average drybag. We went back to the drawing board and completely revamped the duffle, loading it with every moto-specific feature we could think of. It quickly converts to a comfortable backpack, or an over-the-shoulder duffle; the choice is yours. A key feature is the rugged and fully removable beavertail stash spot, complete with two reinforced mesh pockets and plenty of extra webbing for max expansion. The Scout 30 works great as a standalone tailbag, a travel bag, or a pannier topper on hard boxes. We recommend our Backcountry Cinch Straps to secure the duffle to your bike!
The backpack straps come in handy if you breakdown and need to hike out, or when navigating an airport or border crossing on fly-to-ride trips. They're also helpful when you need to get all your gear to an upstairs hotel room in a single trip. If you're not using the backpack straps, they either stash flat in an external pocket or can be removed entirely and left at home.
The Scout 50 and 30 Duffle includes a unique beavertail with reinforced mesh zipper pockets on one side and 5 columns of Hypalon MOLLE webbing on the other, so you can expand and customize this bag with an assortment of optional MOLLE accessories like fuel bottle holders or a hydration sleeve. The beavertail also provides a convenient place to tuck a jacket during the day, or to store wet/dirty things like a rainfly, tarp, or towel.
The Scout 50 and 30 has side cinch strap pass-throughs (we recommend our Backcountry Cinch Strap) so you don't have to worry about your bag squeezing out to the side of the bike in bumpy terrain. The Scout also includes a comfortable, padded shoulder strap that stashes away under the beavertail or inside the bag when it's not in use and there are two easy-grab carry handles, one on each side of the bag.

My husband has this duffle in 50L and absolutely loves it! He definitely recommends this bag because it has/expands so many possibilities yet keeps things organized. Right on Mosko!
The Scout is a great option when you never know how much or how little space you need for your stuff!
Love the simplicity of these! Are they designed to allow for a somewhat flexible capacity in the bag itself? Like, to squeeze out a few liters more with less rolls on the top, or will the beaver tail cinch down tight around a half full bag?

You can overfill the duffles and do fewer rolls of the roll tops. We always recommend at least two rolls to aid in waterproofing. The beavertail also has a lot of extra webbing in case the bag is overfull or has something stashed under the beavertail.
Looks like a great duffle right there! If you have such experience, could it be mounted to the passenger seat of 2023 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S? Or better attach it to the luggage rack? Thanks!
You can mount them in either location as long as you can securely strap the Scout Duffle down!

Does it make sense to pair this with the Reckless 80 if the 22L stinger bag isn't quite enough?
We do have Customers switch out the included Stinger 22 for one of our Scout Duffles. We recommend either removing the Scout Beavertail to reduce bulk under the Reckless Beavertail or removing the Reckless Beavertail. Either way, it's strongly encouraged to use separate straps to secure the Scout Duffle.

Does the 30l fit a laptop?
It'll depend on how large your laptop/case is. The Scout 30L dimensions are width: 10 in / 25.4 cm and length: 18i n / 45.7 cm.
does it come with compression valve ?
Our Scout Duffles don't have compression valves, and neither does any of our other luggage.
Is this 100% waterproof?
As long as you get at least two rolls when closing the bag it'll be waterproof!
