I made a press fit cast iron bushing on an engine combo. I had to press and remove it, three times. To close in on the I.D., so I used the all thread method .

Occasionally, taking a step back to go work on something else instead is quite productive compared with just forcing through moments of uncertainty. Take pressure off the mind and the epiphany shows up

I don’t know about up there, but here in Texas there is dollar store within walking distance no matter what, dollar store nail polish makes a great thread locker especially when it’s 1 in the morning and all the stores are closed and you have three bathroom drawers full of it for some reason.

You can make a counter sinking tool that works from underneath from that tool that you have made just needs a cut out to hold it in centre of

The cure time will get longer as the product ages, but you can speed it up with activator or heat.

What's the best anaerobic binder? There are so many Locitite numbers, it's mind numbing how anyone other than the manufacturer can test all of those to find what each one is good for

    Dumb question...
Are we sure the flywheel will pass through the opening?
EDIT - The reason I ask is because at 6:55 it appears that a hole large enough for the flywheel to pass through would also leave enough clearance for a cutter with about a 7/16" shank?
And the flywheel will clear the extra 1/4" of material at flywheel's front?

The flywheel fits through, but no the holes needing countersunk are outside the Sae opening.
