NOTE: I've had a few comments suggesting that this is "insensitive". I want to emphasize that I know where these people are coming from. My wife works in healthcare and I have two young kids; I know very well how this virus could impact my family. Every day that my wife goes to work, I hope it is another "bonus" day we get together before the wave hits and I don't have to quarantine her and stop our children from hugging her. However, I hope that even in those circumstances, should they occur, I will still be able to maintain a sense of humor, and a lot of comments from people already affected by coronavirus have told me how much they appreciate this. I thank you for your understanding in these unprecedented times.

I have been so depressed, frustrated, etc. like many people...and you literally saved the day. I thank you. I have never heard anyone perform these vocals so well since Queen. This cover is amazing and very funny! But then you start to think about how the lyrics describe the current situation in the world in the exact same way, this version becomes very serious and important, because right now the worldwide recovery very much depends on how we act and of course it should be the right decision to stay home and the curve will obviously get much flatter. Alas, a flatter curve doesn't necessarily guarantee fewer deaths, it was meant to prevent hospital overruns. Once hospitals are not overrun and thus can treat all who need to be treated, the curve means nothing. And currently no hospitals are overrun, many have actually had to furlough employees and are sitting nearly empty. In addition, ironically, many who should have been treated for other reasons weren't, and many doctors have become concerned about people not going for screenings for early detection of cancer, for example. This has turned into quite a complex and sad issue. Focusing only on those who get hit by SARS-CoV2 was a mistake. Unpreparedness was the deadliest disease here (over 80% of those infected develop moderate to no symptoms, which was the main reason given for the stay-at-home curve flattening in the first place, another cruel irony of the situation).
BTW an AMAZING job on this. Hats off. Fantastic.

However, there are several hospitals being overrun (see www.alreporter.com/2020/05/20/montgomery-hospitals-are-out-of-icu-beds-mayor-says/), for example. Also, while furloughing is a genuine phenomenon (my wife was furloughed from a hospital), it has nothing to do with the being an emergency or not, but rather is because it takes many years to train to be the "correct" sort of doctor to cope with the situation. A hospital with lots of Covid patients is not an attractive prospect for - for example - someone who wants knee replacement surgery or, as you reference, to have a regular cancer screen, so those types of specialties are being effectively closed down and the staff furloughed while the ICU is overrun and staff are in desperate short supply.
