The theme was a little bit different in 1998. By 2000, the theme had been remixed when Catchphrase's format and host changed for the new Millennium, much to the disappointment of many viewers back then....
It's a straight tie between Ed Welch's theme, and the Marc Sylvan theme. I prefer the OG better, but Sylvan and Jaques did a great job at turning such an old theme into a modern variation.
