Had to do that to one of my tie rod bolts on my truck. Classic “ hey man come over for a quick 2hr job” 7hrs later I just felt fine to have it back together

Use heat my guy and screw drives ain’t chisels
I went to O'Reillys and got the plug off a new pan
I would just go ahead and pre slot that new one so you don't gouge your pan more next time you'd come down to do this job

They have extraction tools ya know.
Sure if you're willing to wait the 2 week shipping time for the tools.

Did end up replacing the oil pan anyways 😅.
