When you change from 16,2 to 16,17 on the Control by Midi tab on the console you have to change the value from 2 to 17 on the midi clip in that particular scene on Ableton. Otherwise firing that scene on Ableton will not work. It will still be looking for 16,2
hi ! thanks for your videos ! it's Great ! can you the same " how to " with OSC ? thanks
Hi! I've added OSC to our topic list! Thanks.
How did you connect between sd12 and Mac?
Could you explain this?
In other consoles, usb cable with this situation. (like sq,m32 and so on)
Hi, you can use pretty much any midi interface to connect your DAW to the console. For this video we used a Focusrite 4i4. Just connect the midi output from the interface to the midi input of the console.
Amazing tutorial, is there further explanation on the setup? I also wanted to ask, is there a way I can use an Ableton session to trigger changes on both my Digico desk swell as SuperRack? Ie for different snapshots within SuperRack for key changes etc as well as simultaneously doing the same with the Digico.
Hey. If waves superrack is connected to the control port of the digico, and the remote is activated in the superrack setup screen, your snapshots on waves should follow the recalled snapshots on the digico. The integration from Digico to Waves and vice versa is really good.
And I have a question,
Is it possible that Qlab music playing (using Mac book) connect usb a to b cable between sd12 's ub madi port and macbook?
Yes, definitely! Make sure to select the UB madi as the audio driver in Qlab and on the DiGiCo just patch the UB madi to your inputs.
