Grimmjow's introduction is one of the coolest villain introductions ever. What a top tier character.
what happened was that Grimjow invaded bc he thought Ulquiorra was too weak for deciding not to kill them, so he went of his own accord to "finish the job". As said in this episode, Espada (the TOP 10 strongest) have the right to control lower numbers so he is the only Espada, the other ones were his subordinates.
Fun fact: Grimmjow was originally Arrancar number 12 (making his the Arrancar created right after Shawlong) but was quickly promoted to Espada Sexta due to his immense power

The censorship did Ichigo dirty here. He really tore Grimmjow up with that Getsuga in the manga. That’s why the scar is so big later.

Many of espada and Arrancar(arrancar means "to tear off" off in spanish) names and moves are named after spanish words and numbers

I believe they have a limiter (Gentei Kaijo is the removal of that limiter) on them so they don't cause harm to normal people in the area.

An arrancars release refers to transforming (reverting?) back to their original form, its not necessarily a power up.
Well, by nature of being an Arrancar, they’ve already powered up from their original form and then sealed that power into their sword. So by releasing it, they’re returning to their new true form.

just a quick fyi not all arrancar are vasto lorde level, they just happen to aquire a human like form either because Aizen decided it when transforming them or because that{s how the process of becoming an arrancar works in general. The real vasto lorde however are in a real league of their own.
Guess the Couple forgot when captain or lieutenant rank soul reapers aka shinigami are sent to the world of the living severe limits are placed on their powers so they won't affect the world of the living

@@Manusia.satu1 As a captain nah. He is relative to Byakuya's Bankai. On top of that Toshiro had the same problems dealing with the sixth as Kenpachi did with the Fifth. Luppi was relative to Zommari who was quite easily defeated by Byakuya and later Toshiro kind of beat the 3rd. Soo he's quite relative to them if not stronger. The reason why we deem him weak is because he couldn't deal with Shawlong at 16% and got manhandled by Aizen, it's natural he'd lose to him, he could've never beaten him.

People always say Tousen saved Ichigo but it's Grimmjow who was saved from a beating. Byakuya can attest to that.

I don't think Vizard Ichigo is stronger than possessed Ichigo because when he was trying in front of Ulquiorra and Yammy Ulquiorra said his power was greater. Remember he always had that power he used to kill Ulquiorra.

It's kinda wierd to think about it since now his Hollow Mask in FP should be above his White's controlled power, remember the Hell Verse Movie? On top of that since Grimmjow was also about to release his sword would that have compensated his strength cuz the last time I remember him losing control, Grimmjow despite getting wrecked was still hanging on in Base form. Resurreccion would be a further problem.
