I felt so much anger at the professor for his sexism. But what really aggravated me was the boss' blatant disregard for his employee. He made no effort to hear her out or ask why she wasn't focused; he just automatically threw the book at her. And no vacations? What a heartless jerk.

This kinda brings to my mind something my mom told me about the company she works at. Apparently, the owner believes that freshly graduated men from university are the best possible hires. Emphasis on men. Anyway, my mom was apparently the first older woman to be hired over such candidates.
