great video, i added beadboard wallpaper on my doors first, then trimmed the frame like yours, thank you for your video and for making your gaps visible on camera!
I thought the purpose of shaker bars are to give shadows this looks too thin. Nice tip for the handles. Also for doors that wide the strips should be wider to look chunky narrow strips suit the drawers
Thanks for great video, I'm going to do that to my laminated cabinet doors, does this still work? Also I have concealed hinges, don't know how much I can adjust them so the added thickness doesn't make a problem?
This was great...I was thinking of this but couldn't quiet get to your idea, thanks!!! My cabinets have edges that are rounded over with a slight taper so I still have to deal with that, any ideas?
Great video, I am going to give it a go with my old 80's oak cabinets. But, I'm having a hard time finding 1/4" mdf. Do you think I can use cement glue?
You are not ready for paint until you sand and fill the sides of the doors. Otherwise it will look horrible and unprofessional. Use Titebond wood glue and not anything for drywall as suggested. Spray the paint if you have a sprayer.
In Uganda East Africa thank you for sharing the knowledge I made it and looks perfect
This is exactly what I was wanting to do with our cabinets! Thank you for posting this! Just the encouragement I needed for the project

Great video! How do you cover the "ugly" side of plywood or mdf after you rip them to size? Doesn't show after being painted? Not smooth edges.
Would you be able to add glass to it after making it into the new cabinet

Get a tablesaw and cut the edges to a 90 degree angle.
Can you please let me know the brand of the stove (I suppose so) on the right at 3:42?
What did you use for paint exactly? Brand/color? Matte/gloss?
Can I use that glue if the cupboard door is laminated?
Do you have 2 stoves in your kitchen? How cool is that
Great video, I am going to give it a go with my old 80's oak cabinets. But, I'm having a hard time finding 1/4" mdf. Do you think I can use cement glue?
