I just got one too and was skeptical but holy moly is it good! It got most everything if not everything up from 10 years of stains. I just did it yesterday and everything looks brand new without any stains BUT people say that some stains come back after it dries for a few days so we will see. Right now on day two it doesn't look like any stains are re-appearing. So far Im impressed. I will say this, Ive used commercial rug doctors and bissel big green cleaners before and this one picked up stains those would leave behind.

My steam icon stays blinking? Is that correct? The manual is saying it should go to be a solid light but it’s not.
Yes it should be solid. But It doesn't turn solid unless I recline the handle while it's preheating. If it's straight up and down it won't actually preheat.
One question is normal when you use the stream wash max clean it does not dry and leaves it very wet ?
You have to take your fingers off the trigger to dry it up

After I use the quick dry and a still is wet
It's still a little damp after both modes, less wet with quick dry, but definitely not dry instantly.
I tend to go over the entire area a few times with just extraction to pull up as much as possible no matter what mode it's on.
