Siblings should be adopted together. Always
Different times.
@@OP-1000 doesn’t matter. They should have been adopted TOGETHER. You never separate siblings. That’s never ok to do. If there’s 2 or more siblings either you adopt them all or you don’t adopt any, period.
Back in the 80s my younger sister was adopted by a family who only wanted a girl, not a boy. Yet another family torn apart.
When my grandmother was adopting children, she found out the girl she was about to adopt was one of 5 orphaned children. She said to the agency that she’d take all or none of them but would not separate the children. I don’t know why but she said they wouldn’t allow her to adopt them all.
@@CP-oj5sm Adoption could be horrific back then. Babies snatched out of unwed mothers' arms, siblings torn apart. It is a cruelty that I hope we are doing away with.
The fact they both lived 80 years to meet again...strong will and genes in them.
I'm so glad they've gotten the chance to be together again-you can just hear in both that first call and in the clips of them together how much they love each other. Making the most of the time they have left-I hope they have as many years as possible. They both must be in their 90s just about, but I hope they can make up for some of that lost time at least.
And what pure love that kept them looking for each other!! In those 70 years , world has gone topsy turvy but he still kept looking for her. Amazingly heartwarming ❤
A big brother never giving up. Good man.
❤
😘😘😘
I think there should be some record when siblings are separated that they can go directly to to find their siblings once they are over 18. It’s terrible these two lost so many years together, but I am so happy for them to have found each other finally.
It should be illegal to separate biological siblings.
I think things like that are done now. It was different back then - not as easy to track people down.
@@SevCaswell I agree, but then I thought the adoption of them could be more difficult.
You do all remember there was a war there.
@@shainazion4073 yes. What's your point?
Never separate children what a horrible way to ruin people
especially with siblings
Our local pet shelters insist bonded animals be adopted together!
This whole story had me in tears. How awful as children to go through that. Then live your life not knowing where the other part of all you have left is. I'm very happy they got to reconnect. I love that they have daily phone calls
I totally agree I watched this with tears in my eyes. I’m glad there was a happy ending for them.
I can't breathe now...I'm glad they found each other
This made me cry. I sure know that their father's last thought was about them. I love my siblings, we've been through hell and back. My family means the world to me.
It was very emotional for me too. I am the eldest of 9 siblings. In the span of 18 months I lost 3 brothers ( healthy and strong 💪) from complications related to Covid and my dad died ( of a broken heart) shortly after burying his 3rd son , he was 95 years old and was healthy and strong . We ( as a family) always say “I love you “ to each other at the end of the day 😊. You never know when it’s going to be the last time you get to say it.
@@deborahkelly1489i am so sorry for your loss i am thinking of your loved ones🤍
Couldn’t stop crying too. Tear of joy, Thank you to those who made this reunion possible.
Hello kate, how are you doing?
Me too
They are so comfortable in each others company after 3/4 quarters of a century apart, so sad it took so long.
It’s a shame it wasn’t sooner
I would never adopt one sibling and not the other ❤they should do everything to not do this to children !!!
So glad they found each other!!
True
Identical twin myself and history shows twins and sibling split adoption happened. Absolutely disgusting disrespectful and unfeeling!! These stories still upset and shock me!! Better world 👃 ❤
My neighbor's brother and sister-in-law had two kids biologically, then adopted 3 siblings from a poor hispanic family. They are one giant happy family now.
The pain they went through was terrible. Splitting up siblings is cruel
This is why I appreciate people who decide to adopt siblings for the sake of keeping together. They may have only wanted one child, but some end up with two, event 5 to 6 kids because they are siblings. So important for adoption systems to make sure they keep them together.
How cruel!! Seperating 2 siblings that had no other family 😢. I'm so happy they did reunite.
My goodness. I had a difficult time holding back my tears. These two are so loving an sweet.
same here i started to cry as soon as they started talking what they had gone through
I don't think any of us can truly appreciate the trauma and heartache people went through in both world wars. So very glad these two found each other. ❤
Very true. All these years later, and people are still suffering from that conflict.
Who separated them???
I sobbed through this whole thing. I'm so glad they found each other.
I’m so happy for them I can’t stop bawling my eyes out. Siblings should NEVER be separated by adoption! Never! So glad they both lived to find each other again. What a joy to see them together again.
I'm so moved by their shared memories of serving time together in an orphanage, a boy of 11 doing his upmost to step into the protective role, ensuring his little 8 year old sister felt safe and cared for, then callously separated by the system, compounding the loss of their mother and then their father, leaving them with deep wounds they'd carry for decades, and now in the final frail days of their lives, they're suddenly those two children once more, hand in hand, sitting by the ocean.
Somewhat reminds me of the Irish tale of the Children of Lir. Cursed as children to be swans for centuries they finally reunite as frail old people just before dying.
You aught to write the official rebuttal for this story - well said!
Beautifully written.
Well said. You're an amazing writer
@@damionkeeling3103 Yes, very apt reference.
I'm crying. They went through the trauma of losing their mum and dad together. They were all they had, and they were separated. I'm so glad they have each other now. ❤
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Adoptions where siblings are involved need to be rethought...
Yes try to keep them together
This was 80 years ago. They don’t separate siblings anymore.
@@bettygrable6440 god I hope so, so sad what happens/happened to twins
One of the most emotional reunions ever!!!!!
I am here because I just love to cry with strangers.. Love these two.
I hope they will have plenty of years to show each other all the love for each other
This made me cry. My sister passed a few months ago and I envisioned a future friendship with her like this pair shares now... enjoying each other's company, chatting over tea, sharing a laugh... a hug... what I would give to hug her again. I miss you Jen.
she's with ya
I just lost my brother, I know how you feel. I'm sorry and I hope you and your family is doing ok
I don’t think I have ever cried so much at a CZcams video. “Hello my darling brother, Hello my darling sister!” 😭 I know other people have said it but it’s true, war achieves nothing, it only rips families apart while those in charge sit in their safe places unhurt. May God bless them with a rich time together.
wasn't it all part of Gods plan though
@@AlainnCorcaighNope ... Its man's plan
Such a shame the family didn’t adopt both children. I cried the entire documentary, such a sad story, but heartwarming they United 😢😢😢❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗
I was doing okay up until listening to their first phone call and he said “I’m okay now, I’ve been looking for you for 70 years”. burst into tears after that
*_Sadly, not all family members experience such love for each other._*
But this is not that story. This is a story about a small miracle.
@Puck We can be disappointed trying to contact long lost relatives.
So HAPPY these two siblings found each other after being separated.
This is so beautiful. War never fixes anything it just tears people apart. Thankfully they have reunited and spend time together.
It’s true but unfortunate, war never changes
WWII fixed something. It removed murderous tyrants. Grow up.
The cruelty of seperating siblings is unimaginable.
A friend of mine had an adopted sister. When they learned that she had a baby sister, their friends adopted her. They didn't grow up in the same family, but they went to the same schools and always knew they were sisters. My friend called the baby sister, "my sis's sis"
That's nice that they see each other a lot
I’m in tears!?! I can’t imagine a world without my big brother! They’ve missed so much of each other’s lives. I pray for healing and happiness for these amazing siblings. He loves his sister so much.
What a tear-jerker! I’m so happy for them!
I can't imagine my life without my sisters. These poor kids, they should never have been separated in the first place! I'm so glad that they managed to find each other again.
I’m sobbing right now I’m so glad they found each other
The brother has “super memories” at his age🧐. What a beautiful story😭😭😭😭😭
When they call each other darling brother and sister ❤️ 🥰🥹
As an adopted 53 year old this really hits home😭 I'm so happy for them.
I’m crying 🥺 “darling brother” “darling sister” i hope they have a happy and loving life for the rest of their years
God bless them both, I couldn’t stop crying 😢
me too😭😭😭😭😭😭
From the depths of the valley of sadness, up to the peak of the mountain of happiness, this is their story.
This made me cry so much. I'm so glad they found eachother.
He has nothing to apologize for. He's a good brother, and she's a good sister. He did nothing wrong. They were just kids. 2:08
This is the most beautiful reunion I have ever seen. God bless these two.✌️🫶
I'm sending this link to my own darling brother (87) from his only sister, me (79). We are blessed to never have not known where one another was. So happy these two lovely brother and sister found each other at long last.
Such a heartwarming story of two siblings never losing hope. So glad they found each other.
Hello Rosa
How are you doing today?
😭 me during this story...I'm so sorry they were separated for so long but so grateful they found one another before they leave this 🌎. How beautiful to have a sibling who loves you the way these two care and love one another ❤️
Brought tears to my eyes. So glad they found each other again. So sad for the time they lost.
If you didnt cry watching this you are not normal
For anyones whose loved their brother and sister this way…we understand! Brought me to tears. Deepest love ever.
Crying buckets! What a blessing for them, they now have each other again. I've got most of my brothers and the one sister alive yet we are all estranged and not talking to one another, all due to betrayal. Some people search for their siblings all their lives ready to love them, others throw away any love for a couple of coins...Heartbreaking.
What a heartbreaking lovely story 😭I can’t imagine their closeness and to be ripped apart for 70 YEARS! I am so happy they found each other!
Love these two. May they have many years having fun.
I cried for all the years they missed and for joy when they were united again. The people and systems that separated them were devoid of love and humanity.
the relationship siblings share is so unique. it can be beautiful or cruel, it can be life saving or it can cost you your life...i'm so grateful to have siblings that are amazing, easily my best friends in the world. i can't imagine the pain these two must've felt being separated for so long. and i'm so happy they were able to reunite.
I’m so happy for them that they found each other. God bless them.
Hello Susan
How are you doing today?
Brother like this is a gift. Lots of tears.
This is so sweet!! I’m so glad they were finally reunited!❤
I am so glad I found this story it made my heart sing what a bloody beautiful story , I hope they have many years together.
Thank God it wasn't too late and thank God for the people that had everything to do with piecing it all together and getting them reunited.
You can almost hear the angels rejoicing in heaven. ❤️🌈🥰🙌
I had to watch this in segments because I couldn’t stop crying! I’m so glad they found each other!❤❤❤❤❤
Oh, these dear people, I hope they are still getting together for tea and walks. What agony it must have been during all those years to assume they were lost to each other forever. Bless them both!💕
OMG! This beautiful story brought me to tears ! I can’t imagine being separated from my siblings for 80 years. God bless both of them! I hope they have many more years together. ❤
😭😭😭😭 God Bless them. They’re so cute!!
Wow that's awesome. My mother just found her family after 75 years ago.
everything is possible .. even 80 years later Siblings found each other .
I am so happy they found each other. I wish them well and happy times.
Omg they are the sweetest I’m glad they’re back in each others lives
These stories always make me cry. It's wonderful they have reunited, but it just reinforces the pain of loneliness I've always felt as an only (adult) child. When the time comes and I am the only one left, I won't have anyone to reminisce with, someone to still call family, someone who I could turn to. There's always been a hole in my life for a sibling. Of course not all sibling relationships are positive, but to never know what it's like to have one has always been painful.
I am so sorry for you. May God fill that void. He can! ❤
Alex, you will always be important to someone. We are all each others brothers and sisters. Believe you me. We are all often much closer to unrelated friends than our siblings. ❤️❤️ Much love xxxx
Alex it's OK. You will get a sibling, a spiritual one when you ask for it from God.I got a sister after I desired to have one after a very very long time. We started as friends but as the relationship grew we became like sisters. So, keep trusting God who loves to give His children good things.
What a BEAUTIFUL story! I couldn't stop the tears of sadness and hurt for the time they missed out together, or the tears of joy that they found each other again. I am so extremely happy for them! I hope they have many years together to make some memories!
Terrific that they found each other..so happy for them.
My grandpa and his brother got to see each other after 50 years, both well into their 90s, due to one living in CA and the other in NC. They spent 2 weeks together and took professional pictures to remember. They both are gone now but they regularly talked on the phone until my grandpa passed at 98 y.o. and then his older brother passed a couple of years later at 101. To this day I tear up looking at the photos knowing how good it must've felt to see one another after so long.
6:19 "My darling brother," "My darling sister." So deeply heart warming, it almost aches.
That old man has a kind face
Oh my god, the FEELS!!!!!!! DNA databases have brought so many families back together, it's a beautiful thing. ❤️
What a sweet sweet story!
Hello Kethleen
How are you doing today?
This is so sad 😞. I’m so glad they found each other ❤️
Amazing reunion and that they're both still alive 😢❤ so happy they're together again.
I thought I was gonna get through it without crying, but then they shared the phone call
I'm 58 year old woman from UK 🇬🇧 not long finished work and tired. So glad I've just watched this stunningly beautiful video of 2 beautiful siblings. Very emotional had a little cry and weather good so go put washing out!! Thank you so much for sharing!!❤❤ Xxxx
How can people be so cruel… to separate orphaned siblings.
What a beautiful story. I'm so happy they found each. It obviously means the world to them. Peace & Love
Heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time😢❤ God bless them❤❤❤❤❤
A loving family torn apart while other families gladly ghost their lonely relatives in cold blood. This is so sad. Thank goodness they were reunited
In addition to the love these two siblings have for each other, there's the clear love the man has for his father's memory.
Hello Mary
How are you doing today?
I am usually not at a loss for words, but this touched me deeply. I am so happy for Beryl and Bill! ❤❤
Wow, this story was so sad, but with a happy ending. Just knowing how young siblings can love each other, makes this heart breaking. So happy that they managed to get reunited while they are still alive.
So sad...he's crying for all the missed time he didn't have with his sister. So heart breaking for the children they were, but happy for the time they have together.
They should never separate siblings. It’s wrong. I’m glad they found each other. I
was crying with them.
I don't think I could stand being torn from my brothers. This story really got me and makes me appreciate what I've got.
Aw they are precious! I’m so glad they were reunited.
A sad and happy story. Beryl a tough and unemotional woman
That one will bring tears! You would have to be pretty hard not to get this one. We are attached through all the years and all the events. Love beats all. So glad for you both.
The adoption industry is so effed up. Thank goodness they are reunited.
This was so bittersweet to me. I rejoice that they reunited but I mourned the cruel decision of separating the two vulnerable, precious children, thus causing them to miss years of support, companionship, love, time and memories. Heart wrenching to say the least. I am so touched by their enduring love and devotion for one another and wish them both many more years, in health and happiness catching up for lost time. 💖
they made me cry, they are so beautiful , what an amazing generation
I watched it a second time! And tears are flowing again! So happy they found each other!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
My goodness this made me weep badly.
I don’t even know these people. I am half a world away in Toronto Canada. However I sit her crying my eyes out for all the lost years these children had growing up.
This was such a beautiful and emotional story, I’m so glad they found it each other and what a beautiful book and movie this would make. So happy for you both! And now both you families can be all together. This made me cry so much. The heartbreak and the joy.
No book or movie.
