John Frusciante is my favorite guitar player of all time. But I wish he could put his ego aside and play at least one Klinghoffer era track at every RHCP show. Such an easy way to show respect and basic human decency. I hope Josh truly understands how much the fans appreciate his work with RHCP and on JF solo records.

It's so weird that they just abandoned a decade of good work.
Sure, Dave just had one album but josh was there for 10 years, 2 albums, amazing bside albums.

The new album is not as good as the ones with Josh, but Stadium Arcadium is better than the Josh albums, so its a gradual decline

@@feldspato1576 I agree. Am I the only one who REALLY doesnt like Stadium all that much? MAX is probably 4 decent songs that belong on a pop radio. The rest are just kinda eh. I love the Getaway tho.

Me encanta cómo habla tan bien de John, recordando lo que vivió junto a él, incluso aunque ya ni se hablan. Y cómo habla de todos los de la banda... Por el contrario, los de RHCP ni lo nombran a él, hacen como que ni existió. Qué tipo del bien, humilde y agradecido por todo lo que pudo experimentar.
por eso los dos discos de ahora son aburridos, quizas el tercer disco con josh iba a ser una joya, los dos de ahora pasaran sin pena ni gloria, es mas que nada que volvio john y no mas que eso

i'm been forever grateful for this guy cause he kept my favorite band alive for 10+ years and I even started being a fan when he was part of the peppers, but as the years have passed my love for josh has gotten stronger and he is such an inspiration, multi instrumentalist, kinda shy, but an awesome and passionate man. thank u Mr. Klinghoffer for being you and being such a talented and humble human being :))

I kinda think the direction they were going with him was different and more interesting. They were evolving a little more and I thought the songwriting was better structured.

Josh além de responder, contou as histórias de criação do shadows e outros álbuns.. isso é bom demais.
Sempre repito jsso : seria perfeito se Josh fosse mantido com o retorno de John a banda.

And having a mind after such a ride and experience, especially having the knowledge of what happens behind the doors what others don't see or hear and all of that things, why not just be honest and Say something like that. Unlimited was great but the last one.. well the older fans will say the same just may in a more charming way. I love john but I will forever be thankful to go back to Josh's era as well and listen to these masterpieces! I just hope that one Day they will find each other again in a good relationship.

A opinião dele sobre os novos albuns do RHCP ainda devem estar sendo influenciada pela maneira que saiu da banda, ele estava totalmente envolvido e empolgado, sair assim meio que do nada e no meio de um processo de criação pelo oq ele disse, nao deve ter sido muito facil de lhe dar.

I'm sure that it has some effect on his opinion, but there are plenty of fans that agree with him. The new RHCP albums have a few really great songs, but they are way too long and have filler songs that are really similar to older, better songs that they've already put out years ago. They played it really safe, and ended up with albums that feel like hollow retreads most of the time. I'm sure to a lot of fans that wanted John back and never gave Josh a chance, they got exactly what they wanted. But, I liked the weirder, more experimental vibe that Josh brought to the band. I think that The Getaway especially is one of the best albums they've put out. So, I was pretty bummed that they felt like they went backwards on these two albums. Plus, 34 songs on two discs is a lot. If they had whittled it down to just a single album made up of the very best songs, and relegated the rest of the songs to b-sides, it could have been a much stronger record.
Yup and canteen is 100% a b side cash grab. Nothing special about it at all
@@user-we8mu7lf6x canteen has some experiments that i am not interested in but still better that any of those JK albums with rhcp. But I think younger generations prefer jk... jf was out for 10 years, there is a generation gap that don't accept jf is their best songwriter and guitar player. Saw them live more than once and you can't even compare...
Conheci o RCHP quando o Josh estava na banda como o principal guitarrista e desde então, sou mega fã do Chili Peppers e do Josh!

Todo mundo que é fã de Red Hot da volta do John até 2007, lembrem, Josh VIVIA praticamente com os caras. E ainda adolescente já era relacionado a eles. Josh além do músico excelente e original que é, tem em si o espírito da banda. É grande parte da família! Excelente entrevista Wendel. Simplesmente foda!

I always felt it was weird that Chad did the drumming for Shadows Collide With People because it didn't sound like Chad. Now I know why.
Josh wrote the parts. :-)
And a different drumkit than what Chad would usually play and also the way it was produced.

Eu particularmente gostei dos dois últimos álbuns, acho o UL muito bom e o Dream Canteen tem no máximo 7 ou 8 músicas realmente boas.
Com o Josh a banda procurou fazer algo diferente, o que faz o The Getaway ser um álbum superior aos dois últimos. Sem contar que as músicas novas não foram tão bem aceitas quando as presentes nos álbuns com o Josh, principalmente se olharmos para o grande hit que Dark Necessites foi ( terceiro vídeo mais visto da banda no CZcams, sendo o último single a vender 1 milhão de cópias nos EUA). Dos últimos singles que o Red hot lançou apenas Black Summer foi bem aceita de forma geral, porém nos shows ninguém da plateia dá bola, tanto que muitos têm reclamado dos setlists.
Se calhar a plateia esta morta de facto mas mais pelo tipo de publico que foram buscando a partir de SA. Só vi os miudos pular com Snow... que é fofo mas musica para criança. Verdadeiro fãs ficam doidos quando tocam nobody weird like me ou give it away etc.... sao plateias muito mais jovens que nem conhecem bem o reportorio da banda, a propria banda, se calhar são esses que gostam de jk e the getaway. A malta oldschool não gosta garanto. Josh a solo é mais interessante ou mesmo como baterista.

I didn’t appreciate Josh at the time with RHCP. I bought The Getaway but never listened to it beyond Dark Necessities and Go Robot. I listened to it properly about 3 years after its release and discovered an amazing album. It’s Beatle-esque. Josh’s contribution was phenomenal. The albums after The Getaway are rubbish. He’s all class. Can’t say the same for JF.

I'm a big fan of Josh's drums since I realised he played them on some of Frusciantes albums. Josh is insanely talented, pretty sure he's just great in every musical area.

I agree with Josh tbh. The Getaway and I'm With You had about 3 -4 killer tracks each which were better than anything from Unlimited Love or Return of the Dream Canteen.
Not saying the Josh albums are the Chilis best work. I'd still say BSSM, Californication, By The Way and SA are better, but definitely they're better than the latest two Frusciante albums (to me)

"City Coms", "What?!"... Uma vez eu falando sobre grunge com uma garota de Seattle ela não conseguia entender minha pronúncia de Pearl Jam. Eu falava "Perl Gem" ao invés de Pearl (pronunciado tipo "Plural") Jam (com o "a" aberto tipo "jeam"). Uakti é foda! Uma das melhores apresentações que já vi na vida. Gostaria muito de entrevistar Josh. De artista pra artista. Teríamos muita coisa pra conversar.

@@SethWill07 na verdade os últimos álbuns dividiram os fãs, é comum encontrar quem não gostou. Eu particularmente gostei de ambos, porém acho o Dream Canteen “menos bom”que os álbuns com o Josh.

Eu achei muito bons os discos do RHCP com Josh. São álbuns com muitas músicas radiofônicas e que agradam muitos ouvidos, bem diferente da proposta dos dois últimos álbuns com John de volta. Não acho que são melhores ou piores, mas são diferentes.
Josh é um cara realmente incrível, deve ter sido muito difícil ter que sair da banda, mas ele parece bem mais feliz agora.
