  • The Chathamites - Brod, Arf & Rob recorded this in 2009 in Glenn’s basement and never did anything with it. We picked it up from Doug Hudson, who composed and recorded it with his folk band, Tundra, back in 77 on their ‘A Kentish Garland’ LP - as it says on the record’s back cover “Chatham was not always the most salubrious of places. Indeed, Black’s ‘Guide To Kent’ described it as having almost as many stenches as Cologne, it’s streets are narrow and squalid and it’s only productions are soldiers, sailors, marines and shell-fish - the song was first published in the Kentish Gazette in 1771”
