i assume they use some hack, bc i wasted a good amount of some scammers time, told my sister to join, they almost scammed me but we were in the same room, i told her i didn’t trade her, i also tried looking for “my user” and their avatar, but i couldn’t find it.
they xopied the user but changed that you couldn't even notice since roblox doesn't allow same user

@@flopaccounthaha so I was in a rich server with my friend and (he’s really a boy his avatar was a boy for me but same user) he said “ABC if you have a trusted friend in the server I have a gift for them!” I said abc but he was already in a trade and I saw 2 people say “I know you your a scammer” this was 2 weeks ago btw. And I walked away because I didn’t wanna get scammed. Then he traded me and said do you have a trusted friend in this server and he put in a mega shadow dragon and a neon giraffe and he told me to add him and tp to him with my friend! I’ll do a part to because I have to go now!

Here is a explanation of how the scam works: basically they are gonna say “do u have trusted friend or cousin” and u say “yes” and they will say to call ur friend and they will distract u while they distract u they are gonna make another account that is kinda same to the user of the friend. Then the fake user will trade u and u will give the pet and get scammed. Hope this helped!

I "almost" got scammed using this method. However, I knew the scam so they failed. I researching it I hadn't had watched videos about this. I really couldn't tell the difference to the username though. We then confronted the scammer and they left in embarrassment. 😂 Great content I love your videos.

For those who don’t know the scam: they say there gonna give you a free pet and they tell you to bring a friend over and then while there talking to you they make a alt account with a similar username as your friend then the scammer says to trade your friend and give them your best pet and the person with similar user as your friend trades you and you give them your best pet.
Yess ik this scam! While they distract you they make another acc similar to the friends name then join and trade u snd try to convince to give the pet 😂

the same thing happened to me but i was on a call with my friend when this happened so when they started typing in chat i asked her why she was typing there. Anyway, he probably should've asked if we knew each other irl like this girl did. Actually nvm he shouldn't have done the scam at all. Scamming is bad kids don't follow these ppl

Apparently they have a bot, and they copy the username bit not enitrely. They either change one letter or a number

This happened to me 😭
For the people that dont know the scam, so the scammer says "hi miss do you mind if you want to make a vid with me?" You say yes, then they sometime say this so they can make a account rq, "can you do the trade in 2 mins? I need to get my rec set up" you say okay and wait, after the two mins she or he trades you and try to scam you, am 2 weeks late wah
So basically how to scam works they will say I will give you a really good pet and see like a mega giraffe and then they will say just join your friend and basically they will say I’ll give you and your friend and they also like a mega frost and you’ll be like oh my gosh that’s so cool, so do I join her now and she’ll say yeah so basically, then you join them and she’ll say wait five minutes or if they know you’re famous they’ll just let your fans join but basically how she got almost scammed is she got offered a neon, a giraffe, or a mega frost dragon and she probably knew that you were famous so she just waited for your friends to join. That’s why she kept on declining and she was just making the alt account so hopefully you don’t get scammed again good luck trying not to get scammed.
I GOT SCAMMED BY THIS METHOD WITH ME AND MY STEP SIS I LOST MY TURTLE *I GOT THAT DAY* AND A BUNCH OF OTHER LEGENDARYS AND SHE LOST HER ARTIC REINDEER *THAT SHE ALSO GOT THAT DAY* AND HER NEON WHITE AMAZON PARROT
The worst part is they lure you with good pets to try and take pets that are worth like a quarter of the good pets value 😔 it shows how greedy scammers are i hope they get banned
