Samara Z1: in de sloot!

Samara Honhoff heeft op zondag 13 maart 2011 met haar paard Wish me Luck haar laatste winstpunt in het M2 behaald en is daarna nu Z1 startgerechtigd. Traditiegetrouw heeft zij op Manege Tinte een slootduik gemaakt!

Hey I am from Germany. (im am living near Würzburg) Can you please explain me, why you throw other people in this water. Is this a traditon in the Netherlands? I have seen lots of Videos at this water.

Yes, it's a tradition. I don't know if it's a national tradition, but in our region we do this when someone reaches the Dutch Z dressage level. It comes from showjumping I've heard, where they throw a rider in the water jump after they reach Z level jumping.
