Fantastic! I have the identical aircraft but with a Kingtech you fly it so well

Just Beautiful. Wow, I don't think that airplane could fly any better. It looks to have a superb envelope, and such nice scale slow flight capabilities. Really scale model you have there my friend. Thanks for the video.

fantastic looking model sounds right, looks right and beautifuly flown. Good to see someone fly a model like it should be very smooth.

Wow great flying, an Rc model that's flown in a manner that it could have been mistaken for the real thing. 👍

Magnificent well done. Super scale flying too. I want one!

    Thank you Christian,
This model was also electric before I modified it to take the turbine but the flight time was too short at 5 minutes (see my other video).
I knew I had to keep the hot air of the gas generator and gearbox part of the turbine separate from the air supply into the fuselage so I made a dividing plate to fit into the cowl that takes half of the air from the scoop and diverts it through extra holes that I cut into the lower part of the firewall. Air is also sucked up through the gaps into the fuselage around the nose leg undercarriage. It seems to be quite adequate.

The Wren 44i instruction manual states that there should be at least 2sq inch of opening for air into the turbine.

Good god, what a beautiful fucking airplane!
    And that sweet turboprop sound....hnnnggg
May I ask, where did you get the curved metallic exhausts from? Because the Wren's exhausts are straight.
I just ordered this plane, and I'll be using a petrol engine, can't afford a Wren :( but I'd love to get those scale looking metal exhausts.
    Cheers

I like you Tucano .. I have the same one, but with electric engine. Turboprop is much better. :-) How did you realize that the turbine gets enough air to breath ?

    Hi. Hill
    Best regard.
Hill I want to ask you something: I have the same plane with the same turbopro wren44i.
You would like to know what configuration you have in the turbopro paramateros. since I have had problems with acceleration. it turns off in the acceleration and in the ECU display shows Acceleration error.
    many thanks

      Hi Nelson,
From what I understand you may need to change the acceleration/deceleration rate to allow for running in hot conditions. In the RUN menu the values that were set on my 44i are Acceleration Delay: 008, Deceleration Delay: 010 and Stability Delay: 100. Having said that, no two installations are truly identical but these could be a good starting point? If your problem persists I recommend that you contact Wren Power Systems: info@wrenpowersystems.com
      Best regards, Gordon

      Hi Hill.
thank you very much for answering.
I'm going to try those two paramateros. I have in Acceleration Delay 60 and in Deceleration Delay 25.
      Thank you

Hi Mark, mine is a Dubro DB692 50oz (1500cc) fits like a glove but if necessary a 1800cc will also fit.
