@@hezekiahbird9307 its good but at certain point its not scary anymore because theirs like to many jumpscares by the end and they show to much of the spirits instead of hiding them and it isnt scary anymore but in the conjuring i think theres a perfect balance between the jumpscares insidious has just to much but its still a good movie the conjuring is just scarier and superior
PROOF that a horror movie can be rated R with next to no language (there were NO F bombs), no sex, or extreme gore! It was on scares alone pretty much!!! =) My FAVORITE horror movie of all time!

I saw this film in the cinema when it came out and remember this track that the start of it and it made the hairs on my arms and the back of my neck stand and gave me goosebumps. And it still does it to this day.

Guys, this opening theme was scary when the credits rolled up, and The Conjuring 2 did the same with an unholy sound of men, as this one has an unholy sound of women.
Hopefully it's men and women in the Conjuring 3

Joseph Bishara sure created one of the most terrifying, unsettling, eerie, creepy, and scariest soundtrack ever! This theme is absolutely horrifying! Although I love what he did with The Conjuring 2 soundtrack a lot more, both movies have the perfect soundtracks! I hope he returns to compose The Conjuring 3!
I hope he does too, but honestly, The Conjuring 3 won't be directed by James Wan, and I don't know why. However good it might turn out, it won't be as good as when he is behind the ccamera...

It's arriving on June 4, 2021.
This is the only film that you feel.. genuinely .. like something is wrong.. and it does scare me at night.
Conjuring 2 is just as amazing as the first one. It's rare when a horror sequel is as good as the first one
It didn't rely on cheap scares like most horror movies. They show you when to get scared and you still get scared lol.
***** Amen I am glad that it was a hit this weekend. 40 Million domestic and 90 million world wide that is amazing for a horror movie. It was the simple stuff that scared me. I loved the sounds you hear all threw the house.
+Brango both the 1st and 2nd one also made you care about the protagonists unlike most horror movies.
Dare Devil
Exactly they made you care about the Warrens and the families they were helping. The scene between the little girl and Lorraine on the swing in the second movie was touching and emotional. I felt bad for the little girl. No other horror franchise has done that with both movies. And you care about Ed and Lorraine in the movies no matter what you may believe in religion or ghosts. You care for there relationship and feel there love for each other. The writers are brilliant. The actors are amazing making us care for them.

It is pretty damned impressive. James Wan has established himself as the great horror director of the 2010s. I have no doubt he will go down in history along side guys like Wes Craven, and John Carpenter.

the composer, joseph Bishara, for insidious and the conjuring, always plays the evil entities, (Bathsheba, the red face demon, the woman in the dress) he likes composing for the creatures he plays.

Nick Poe Tom Fitzpatrick actually played the woman in the black dress in the films but nevertheless, Bishara was awesome in his roles as Bathsheba and the red faced demon. Amazing composer as well.
I love horror movies and have watched a lot of them but this music and introduction to the movie is one of the best I've ever seen!

I wish there were more horror films like this being made. It's proof that there are filmmakers out there who have passion and a good idea of what makes (and keeps) a film scary. There's no need for repetitive redundant jumpscares, gore or cursing. Just juicy suspense and atmosphere.

scariest movie ever!!! i'm a horror film fan but damn this one had me so spooked! any time i watch it, i'm legit out of commission for like a week....walking around my house with all the lights on, back against the wall. Spooked the F out!! why am i obsessed with any thing that has to do with the conjuring? why? does something have a hold on me? yikes!!!!

I would put this movie right up there with The Exorcist and The Omen. One of the most terrifying movies I ever saw in theaters especially the clap scene.
This is the only movie that gave me the chills alongside with Insidious 1&2. Top notch movies.
