Simple explanation of a complex disease. I have the gene as did my mate. My daughter has SWCAH and is turning 48 next month. She has escaped death so many times. Too many do not take this seriously. They think oh just a hormone imbalance, no its much much more and is indeed life threatening at times. Argued with many an ER doc. Drs...nurses..when you come across a rare disease know we never expect you to know all about every disease but we expect and need you to rely on us as the advisor both in treatment and in referrals to our docs for guidance.

He is very normal except at times he gets very nervous and sleep very late. When the dosage was reduced, seems all normal now. He is only 3yrs now. We actually had to be done a DNA testing and we both were carriers. A case of 1 in 16000 just got us.
