- Breeo Y Series smokeless firepit is the newest iteration of firepits from Breeo. As can be expected from Breeo Smokeless Firepits the Breeo Y Series is made incredibly well, is sturdy, has adjustable legs, and probably the best upgrade: the Breeo Y Series has a built in heat deflector and the Y series is deck safe out of the box.

Thank you for posting this video 🎉. You have a new subscriber. Keep up the great work 🎉. I’m looking forward to getting this one myself.
We just ordered a few Y series for our Outdoor Living store here in Asheville NC. Thanks for the review!
This video and your X series has helped me make my decision. Solo stove is out. Thanks!
This review was the tie breaker between this and the Solo Stove. Placed my order. I’m not going to use this for cooking since I have a great Weber gas grill that I’ve been camping with for almost 18 years now. I buy high quality because I’ve found that it saves money in the long run. Another plus is a US product rather than Chinese. I love the fact that it will burn wood pellets which is great for short term fires. Met a guy last year with a small Solo Stove that worked with pellets. Made a nice fire, but the new clean out concept for the 2.0 Solos won’t support pellets any more. If you buy this via Amazon, it will be shipped from Breeo and using the Amazon card you can spread the cost over 12 months at no interest!
I 've just built a new deck with Trex decking, as well as a new Breeo X24. I watched all of these videos about them on decks and I decided to put it on top of 32" x 32" concrete patio blocks. I sat the legs on 1 1/2" thick patio bricks, total of 3 inches off the plastic deck material. After about an hour with a small fire, it made the blocks to hot to touch. DON'T DO IT!
Thanks for the review. Idea on radiant heat. Make a 2x4 frame stick figure person with points of head chest and toes. And a spacer attacted with avg distance use a 2x4. Get laser temp gauge. Measure temp over time at each point.
Great review. I am rebuilding life, buying a house right now and looking for new firepit. Leaning heavy X series cuz built in PA and warranty. Looking to getting back into video reviews with GF showing our adventures traveling this path and remodeling new place. So I appreciate info on this firepit.
Have an X series and love it ...deck friendly not an issue right now...have the outlook grill and the high temperature above the stove can be a challenge to learn to use
and we like the heat cast off from the stove sideways as that is part of the 'charm' of a fire is feeling the heat
Two biggest differences between the X and Y are radiant heat and deck safe imo. Can’t go wrong with either. Do you keep your outpost at one height or move it up and down while cooking?
Great video
Bought a new home and this will go perfectly on the new deck! I was watching your x series and luckily saw this coming out soon.
Excellent! Glad you waited and are getting what you wanted. Thanks for watching!
If you use the legs to make it higher, will the radiant heat hit you more in the chest when sitting down? Think that's one of the big issues today with smokeless fire pits. This would get my vote if so then the X.
Great review! Breeo just came out with a heat deflector that can be used on the x and y series. If they happen to give you the heat deflector to try it out, could you please review it as well?
Already in the works! Give me 3-4 weeks.
Super cool! Thanks!
What is the thickness of the steel used.
What is the new sear plate dimensions, also the opening dimensions with the new sear plate
I wonder if one reason the Y19 does not put out as much radiant heat as your X series because the X series is the Corten steel. While the Y 19 is made of all stainless. I own and have used the x19 stainless model for a couple of years now and I've always been wondering if the X19 Corten steel puts out more radiant heat.
How do you think it would do over turf? 😅
Good one man but Im a solo stove fan but like to learn from our enemy 😅 it’s still nice fire pit
Nothing wrong with that. Thanks for stopping by! Haha
Will there be a Corten Steel Y-series anytime in the future? From what I can tell, the weight might be similar for both.
When I asked them about that they said no. And I agree.
On the X series you seared right on the plate on the side. Can the same be done on the Y series?
Breeo no longer offers their X series with the sear plate. So neither the X nor Y series can sear on their rings. Breeo now offers a sear plate griddle as an accessory for both.
Anyone that has the Y series, would it be ok on a covered deck? Roof is about 8 feet above the deck surface. thanks
No way. Far too hot. Would not recommend.
The Y is a flimsy piece of shit. The legs wobble like hell. Is it worth $495? Nope. And Breeos lifetime warranty is a joke. They cover 5 years against rusting through. What a life time...
I would not hesitate buying the cheaper ones from competitors. In the end they all work and last the same.
And they all will rust through somewhen. Once you had a couple of fires in them, the material characteristics change and the rust proof surface won't be rust proof any longer. Mine is rusting like hell even though I clean it after every burn and store it inside my garage. I would not pay 495 bucks for a fire pit again. The cheaper ones, like the ones from Costco, Solo etc. do exactly the same but cost only half of this. I recommend going that route. Breeo is nothing but a lifestyle product. They are made in the U.S. which I like, but not at any costs.
When you get free items to review, your review isn’t 100% honest.
Just saying
