While the empire has more numbers, they are clearly victims to sith knights, it be like watching tcw 2003 but with sith knights and they'll stomp harder as millions of troopers are force waved and force crushed and could barely scratch any sith, Plus low powered force lightning can 1 shot an ATAT and star destroyer executor.
Then the most busted ability Wyyrloks force illusion. With him affecting sith grunts and saying "You've only seen an iota of the power I pocesses." meaning imagine what his force illusion can do to millions of Imperial legions, insta mindr### to insanity or suicide. Making Wyyrlok beyond busted as an anti bastila or hours sabioath.
As for inquisitors, and secret apprentices, the ones that are gonna survive the longest before dying are Jerec, Starkiller and Lumaya before dying.
The Sith will always be some of the most fascinating villains in all of fiction

I think if you had included the SWTOR Sith alive during this time frame, I think it would have become your longest video ever. As much as I would love to see a power scaling with Lord Scourge and Darth Nyriss, I’m glad you kept everything concise and relevant to the original KOTOR games.
Tbf that would completely ruin the power scaling of the characters from the kotor era as well. I like swtor but it's an acc mess when it comes to the lore and power scaling overall, tho that's always been an issue wid star wars

Darth Nihlus was literally the embodiment of the Dark Side. Before being completely succumbed to his Hunger he was able to feed on entire worlds and civilizations with the mastery of the Force Drain ability. The Force Drain ability had to be controversial to even the greatest masters of the Dark Side. Viewed as a powerful yet compromising practice. If Darth Nihlus were canon and he was just a legend among the Sith Order I can see them abandoning the teaching and practice of it specifically for what it did to him. Before the hunger turned inward on Darth Nihlus he was truly unstoppable and was a threat to all life in the entire Universe.
Well the Nihlus counter is Meetra Surik, she killed him. 💪👌👍

Dude I used to watch your vids back when I was a young preteen Star Wars nerd who had no outlet for my fanatical fixation (aside from reading the Bane trilogy multiple times). Now I’m in my 20’s getting struck by nostalgia from your intro. I always really respected your analysis and discussion of the lore so I’m glad to see you return with a classic style vid. Great to see you again man, hope you’re doing well.
Star Forge Bastila stated that she was more powerful than all but the most powerful Jedi Masters, putting Vrook above her. And Traya ragdolled him and two others. Yikes.
To add to Meetra's evaluation of Revan's power, there's a statement about Revan actively hiding his power from Meetra during the Mandalorian Wars. She never saw him performing at his full capacity, yet she still considered him the strongest person she ever knew.
Revan's victory over Mandalore the Ultimate is more impressive than one might think. By the time of The Old Republic, Ultimate is the most revered Mandalore ever, putting him above Mandalore the Indomitable. And in the Tales of the Jedi depiction of the fight between Indomitable and Ulic Qel Droma, Indomitable's combat prowess is stated to possibly eclipse Ulic's mastery of the Force. And while Ulic ultimately won, he kinda cheated. In fact, Indomitable is the only one of the two to land a single, clear hit in the entire fight. This would put Mandalorian Wars Revan around, if not outright above, Sith Ulic who, while weaker, is comparable to Exar Kun.
I'll have to disagree with you on Spirit Kun being his prime. Tom Veitch (may he rest in peace) confirmed via an email that Kun was weaker as a spirit. There's also plenty of statements supporting that.
Overall, a very good video. Kinda predictable, but still very enjoyable.
You are wrong ulic qel droma wasn't close to exar kun in raw force power knowledge and abilities exar kun by the end of tales of the jedi was way more powerful than reborn revan

@@wb7585 Yes, we are. Nothing is contradicting that statement. And the fact that she outright admitted inferiority to them, despite dark siders usually boasting about their abilities, speaks volumes.
I think Visas Marr is among the most underrated EU characters ever. Maybe I’m biased (she’s my favorite SW video game character), but I think in terms of story, characterization, and ESPECIALLY performance-Kelly Hu is another underrated legend-she’s one of the absolute best the franchise has to offer.

@@ultraviolet540 The acolyte didn't really have much to work with from the beginning. They wiped the SWTOR era from Star Wars and pretty much limited pre-prequel story telling to just a thousand years. Instead of the 25,000+ that the EU had.
I dunno, it just really leaves a sour taste in my mouth, knowing that all the lore and stories of the Old Republic pretty much can't be retold. Unless Disney decides to let Legends continue alongside Canon. Just 2 separate universes.

@@jwoop6358 Yes, he was the big bad of kotor, but he mostly got his power by petty means, not by actual strength. He only became the Sith master because he refused to help Revan at his worst and letting him become captured. He couldn't hold his own against Revan before he was sure he even was Revan. Malak became strongest when he was in the the star forge which he could not have had without Revan.
He doesn't belong in S tier

You could include Vader, Galen, Starkiller, Palps, Luke, Mara, all the legends inquistors. Any surviving Jedi Vader killed and more it would be amazing.

Regrettably, Malak would absolutely shit on Dooku. And I don't think it would even be close. Dooku is pretty badass. But Malak fought Revan, who is much closer to Sidious than Dooku.

Great video, Evan. I'd like to point out one thing, though - From what I understand, it's canon that Revan took an hour/hours to fight through the Star Forge before he confronted Bastila. He then had to fight his future wife three times without dying AND without killing her before she opened her eyes. Only then does he face off against Malak. Basically, Revan was coming into that battle physically, mentally, and "energy wise" weakened while Malak was fresh as a daisy.

11:06, just because Yuthura and Revan beat Uthar, doesn’t mean it REQUIRED both of them to take him out. While I doubt Yuthura could have bested him fairly, I don’t think Revan doing so would be any sort of stretch.
30:40, incorrect. You portray the Nihilus fight as only having a singular instance of Nihilus being weakened, when there are in fact two. The first happened as you laid out, however, unlike how you said, the group is actually still woefully outmatched by even a notably weakened Nihilus. That is when Visas then offers to sever her connection/bond to Nihilus. This weakens him further and even stuns him long enough for the group to effectively defeat him.
So for the record, even after being significantly weakened after his failed drain attempt on Meetra Surik, he was still far too powerful for the group to hope to defeat. Given this, your placement of Nihilus in A tier is quite egregious lowballing.

Kreia is merely musing at where she assumes Nihilus’ power is. We know from what we’ve seen of the Ancient Sith’s power that Nihilus eclipses them all. The only one expressly superior being Vitiate of course.
I would say Exar Kun as well, but as of the timeframe of KOTOR, Kun sure as hell doesn’t qualify as an ANCIENT Sith. 😂

32:49, I would LOVE for you to try to argue that either Darths Malak or Revan > Exar Kun (not that it’s relevant though, as again, Kun can’t be considered an ancient Sith within the setting of the KOTOR timeframe). There’s literally only a single source that pushes such a stance, and it’s a laughably pathetic source at that, having come out prior to KOTOR’s release, and being worded so poorly it could mean numerous different things, with the writer, Cory Herndon (IIRC) even thinking, years later upon being presented with the quote, that what was meant was military power, that Malak>Kun in overall power, including military power, which absolutely makes sense given The Star Forge.

As Nihilus was ruled by his Hunger, it’s no wonder one would consider Revan to have a greater COMMAND of the Force than someone like Nihilus, who’s expressly more powerful in an overt way. ALSO… a friend of mine asked for clarification on exactly that quote btw, if Meetra’s words there include Nihilus, and if that effectively places pre-Revan-Reborn-Revan>Nihilus, and this was Drew Karpyshyn’s response:

^So while at 100% power, and no, not talking about his POTENTIAL prime, but the level he was at prior to his failed drain attempt of Meetra Surik, he was around the level of multi-planetary, being able to casually eradicate the surfaces of entire planets, effectively leaving dead worlds in his wake. Neither Revan nor Malak were at that level. And even if we want to go the route of, “Well that’s just Nihilus’ drain. If one can resist that, he’s far less impressive.” While true, Nihilus is still an absolute monster without his iconic drain. Him lifting his ship, The Ravager, from the depths (gravity well) of Malachor V, and also arguably keeping it together with his will, even while being bombarded by enemy ships, also places him above Darths Malak or Revan.

As far as his POTENTIAL prime goes, that would be if Kun succeeded in rezzing himself in TJA trilogy, as he would have regained all the power he had when he was alive, but with the mastery he accumulated over the thousands of years as a Sith spirit. But yeah, as far as actual iterations of Kun go, his prime was when he was alive. This is corroborated by every Sith spirit being weaker than when they were alive in their original body; them always wanting to rez themselves (why resurrect yourself if you’re just as powerful, if not more, as a spirit?); and we have a plentitude of quotes that have spirit Kun wanting to regain his lost power. Kun’s feats while alive absolutely dogwalk all over anything and everything Darths Revan or Malak did. 😅

Alive Kun’s OP feats:
-(VASTLY pre-prime) Aided by the spirit of Freedon Nadd, a young Exar Kun breaks through a wall of beskar with his lightsaber.
-(Basically just as pre-prime) While no longer able to call upon the light side of the Force, and only just having dipped his toes in the dark side, he slays about half a dozen tuk’ata. (For the record, given this was PRIOR to Korriban being ransacked, and it was still a significantly powerful dark side nexus, these tuk’ata should be, if anything, drastically stronger than the one Anakin struggled against circa AotC, and still stronger than the ones Bane fended off in PoD)
-(Significantly pre-prime) Lifts Naga Sadow’s 215-meter-long flagship, The Corsair, out of the depths of Yavin IV, with TK.
-(Significantly pre-prime) One of his most underrated and impressive feats IMO: Kun shrugs off Aleema Keto’s dark side blast with contemptuous ease, before casually knocking her unconscious with one of his own. (Aleema Keto, back when she was merely still dabbling with sorcery, was able to skeletonize a man with a blast of the dark side, and she’s notably more powerful by this point.)
-(Notably pre-prime) Arguably Kun’s greatest feat: he seemingly casually freezes everyone in the galactic senate, save about a handful of Jedi, during the trial of Ulic Qel-Droma. We see in more close-up scans of the crowds that the seats are full. With a little counting and math, it becomes increasingly clear Kun froze-even at a conservative estimate-still above ten thousand individuals, and given no one in the crowd is shown to be any different from when they were frozen, even after he slays Vodo-Siosk Baas, it’s entirely plausible Kun kept everyone frozen WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY fighting Vodo, which isn’t too outlandish for Kun to do, given he’s stated as being far more powerful than any one Jedi of that time, which of course includes the likes of Odan, Thon, and Vodo. But even if we want to choose to not believe he held ten thousand or so beings frozen while fighting and besting Vodo-Siosk Baas, the mere fact that he froze that many individuals, again, seemingly with no effort, is quite a monumental feat in and of itself.

Sorry to say but the strongest and mightyest Sith in the Kotor Era isn't Starforge Malak. The strongest Sith in these days was and ever has been the Emperor Darth Vitiate or later Valkorion. He had overtaken the will of Revan and Malak within seconds and turned them into his pawns. And he had send these two out to fight against the Republic.

Im pretty sure Sion is confirmed that he can regenerate missing limbs and might even be able to regenerate from being cut into pieces.
Outside of convincing him to let go of hatred, then the only other options I see is removing his ability to use the force via Midi Cholorian Manipulation or Sever Force. Sion depends on the force to keep himself alive after all.
Also I think Traya's rematch over Sion was due to amping herself with the Academy and prep time. Traya is terrifying with prep.

I disagree with the scaling of Malak. In the Dark Side campaign, Revan, unpowered by the Star Forge, and operating at a slightly inferior position in power compared to his previous iteration as Dark Lord smashes through Malak's abilities, even after all the stations defenses have been released against him. Again, this is Revan operating at roughly 90-95% of his power. Even Bastilla states that he is weaker than when she faced him before when confronting him in the map room. She grants that she is still far below his abilities but warns that she thinks Malak might be the stronger.
Because if this, I do not think that Malak at his strongest is actually near the rank of a fully powered Revan, especially when he admits to ambushing his master because he was afraid to face him a second time.
These are from the noncanonical Dark Side Campaign, but they are directly related to the power scaling of a pre-ambushed Revan.
I never thought of Malak as a threatening fighter, he always came off as a pushover in Revan's shadow no matter what. He was good, but Revan outmatched him all the time. If KOTOR ever gets a rewrite I'd love to see an expansion on that, makes him much more interesting than Malak just being ridiculously powerful and an Anakin-tier fighter. Much more fun with him being a simp for Revan, jealous of him, a little rat. Not a horrible fighter, but relying on fear, smartness, unfair fighting. Most of the time he sat in the Star Forge or on the Leviathan anyway and commanded troops. Thinking back, nothing in the game really implied that Revan didn't easily outmatch him aside from that weird Leviathan corridor scene. It's kinda awkward for him to be the OP Darth Vader there, taking on Revan, Bastila and Carth without losing his calm. That'd work much better with some more tricks, or him cutting Bastila off from the start. Still a stupid scene, it's like another skilled Jedi and Jango Fett helping Obi-Wan against Anakin on Mustafar lol

I do not have a problem with the Leviatan scene, or Malak's scaling at that point. Revan has not yet truly returned to anything near his full strength, though he is rapidly rebounding, so Malak's superiority is acceptable. However, this is no longer true when their final confrontation occurs.
I think that the choice of Bandon to be his apprentice actually shows Malak's weakness as a replacement for Revan. Bandon is already pushing middle-aged and is easily destroyed by severely damaged Revan. Davik Kang, Canderous Ordo, and Calo Nord are bigger threats. Malak's greatest gift was accessing the fuller powers of the Star Forge. But few Sith in general reached Revan's level of power.

He is still be tremendously powerful but he’d probably be lucky to crack the top 10 most powerful Sith of all time.
Once he is redeemed and regains his past memories he is probably in the top 5 strongest force users of all time both Sith and Jedi alike.
ReVan is The Force scribe who authored both Prime Holocrons. That is why He seems the most powerful. Had I written the rulebook I would seem the greatest. But it still does not qualify One for comparisons. In that sense amongst legitimate competitors, The Acolyte (Vesas) is the greatest Force weilder of all time (she fights blindfold!) however bound thought to only one side of The Force. That is the real Canon for this; Legend is not without Canon, fools. Read first then erase.
Holy crap, a video fairly scaling Nihilus in the lore, and not wanking him. If you want to downplay him more, talk about how the Ravager was in orbit in the complete encyclopedia, and not in a Gravity well like older sources say.
Also talk about how the Ravager itself is one big Darkside Nexus connected to Malachor, amping his power according to the Prima Guide.

Don't forget Kreia tricked Nilhius to attacking Telos by telling him Jedi were there to eat. So Nilhius used a huge amount of power to find there was no Jedi just a dead world. He was weakened even before the exile faced him
Nihilus is tricky to rank since the longer he exists and the more he feeds, the stronger he gets and the more ravenous his hunger becomes. There was a point where Kreia said that if he isn't stopped soon, his power would grow beyond what even a wound in the force like the Exile could hope to nullify. It makes me wonder how strong Nihilus would've grown if he'd actually beaten the exile and went on to devour the entire galaxy along with the remaining Sith and Jedi. That hypothetical Nihilus could've easily breached S tier. Though I certainly get why he's only top of A tier since its based on what we saw of him.
The only other area I think Nihilus is more talented than people realize is his force telekinesis. He didn't just yank an entire fleet of ruined ships from the gravity well of Malachor, but its his power that effectively not only helps hold the Ravager together, but also powers it as well as sustains the lives of his zombie crew, and he was doing all that while devouring world and also while fighting The Exile. Those are some pretty impressive skills. Still, those are his only two real talents (Well he's decent with force lightning, but so are most Sith) in all other areas he's pretty average. Thoough he doesn't need to be a good duelist when he doesn't even have a physical body anymore given how his spirit is in his mask.

I know I’m in the minority, but I really hope a remake of KOTOR 1 doesn’t come to pass, even if takes place in the Original EU timeline. Because I don’t trust todays writers and developers to do the story justice and I can see them putting way to much crap we’ve seen from Disneys shitty shows. And I can see them changing things so it’s acceptable to the people who want “the social message” forced into every type of entertainment (which it has been when it comes to Disneys crappy takes of the “Star Wars” universe) when it’s not needed in a remake like KOTOR.
