I think I need to specify the point of this video since there is a bit of confusion! These commanders I mention today aren’t bad on the field at all! It’s just their expertise has less value than that of other commanders and they preform better at a cheaper skill level. For example a 5115 Joan will do better than a 5511 Nevsky so save Gh from her and put it in another commander! That doesn’t mean she isn’t a good commander just she has a lot of value at the first few skills!

I got 5515 Joan in the beginning. Since she was a must have in the field, expertised her later. It was good for a while, and was worth it eventually. This is a good way to get them fast on field, but not permanent. 10% damage is a big difference given how much we spend on equipment for the edge.

For Herman and Guan you were right but for JoanP you were wrong bcz if you not max skill you will loss almost 9% damage and almost 10% march if out site is almost 20% this is huge and more huge when you combine with Nevsky.(imagine 10% damage Nevsky and JoanP taking upon enemy in the murder ball ),now you see picture yet? When you enter KvK you try so hard to be No.1 for buff 3% When you upgrade Formation ,you try so hard to get Damage near 10% instead of health When you forge armored ,you try so hard to reach level 4 for not even touch 10% damage. I don't even like infantry commanders.... But if they come out with a Sun Tzu I'd probably max him!! Rise of kingdoms would have to be slow to not make Sun Tzu meta
Expertising a commander is basically utilising its utmost skills before it became useless and it will became handy in SoC when these commanders will be put in skill bastions. Choose wisely and try to maxed them rather than chasing meta in 5511s.

As a F2P Scipo prime should be your next commander if your in SoC then your Sun Tzu should also be Expertised and a Decent Secondary until you can invest in LC and replace SunTzu but if you want another Cav Huo and William (5551) should be the Next combo
Personally, I would save up after finishing a pair. Next, you could work on an Inf/Archer pair. Ever since the Beli Prime release, i doubt we'll get the next Nevsky/ZL/LC anytime soon (might have to wait for Oct 2024/CNY 2025).

I have ZL 5551 Herman 5511. Should I expertise ZL and then get Herman to 5551 or should I get Herman to 5551 and then expertise ZL? Note I have 0 gold heads because I just got ZL to 5551 but I do I have vip 13.
You need to test Herman expertise because my reports show that Herman expertise doesn't care if his opponents lose the poison stacks. His expertise is very valuable in hit and run combat.
not if the opponets lose the poision it is if you lose combat like when his rage resets which often happens because the targets may die before you hit 25 stacks or get too far!

I used Hermann inflicted 6 poison stacks on 3 targets, total 18 stacks, walked away, wait for the 3 targets lose all of their poison stacks. Hermann Prime's expertise skill is bad because players can just walk away before reaching 25 stacks. But, all his other skills are a must at max level. So technically, you still have to max him. 😂
Good video as usual. However, i disagree with using gold heads or skill resets on Guan. I use him still and have gotten more value out of him than any other commander. I wouldn't invest now though. Unless you're a big spender. He's just going to be headed to the bench too soon to be a good invest.

Well, in my opinion I feel like Martel & Richard are a trap. Whilst their stats are considerably good for early game it's bad for long term even if you use Martel as a garrison it's pointless he'll still be destroyed. I recommend Scipio though he's pretty good.
Herman expertise is amazing. You having to be aggressive in murderballs to see the difference. If you’re in an aggressive imp kingdom you’ll definitely see the value
I did get some value when playing agressive but it often led to me getting sad faced which I can't keep up with. and on defence when trying to stall its usless
It’s like 6-8 weeks yet for infantry. Then pending how they do the commanders inbetween archers or after. It would but I’d say a solid 14-16 weeks at this point.
I'm not asking a question but I'm a low spender 25 Lego commanders expertise and I totally disagree when you're in the field during KVK most of the time you're in murder balls and you're going to hit multiple targets which is going to give you stacks really quick and then on top of it if you hit that 200 damage factor You're going to get an extra two stacks on top of all those other stacks that are accumulating quickly. Also I'm a cavalry mane and I will say the Joan prime is absolutely worth expertiseing. Been playing ROK for 1426 days.

its only 10 normal damage because it has a specific troop attached to it. If we see another rise in disarms maybe but only the ranged commander had it and Beli P disarm bypasses boudica
@@ArchersSyndicateRiseOfKingdoms 10 normal damage is a significant amount when you're fighting against high counterattacking infantry and high attack cavs. All archers have is skill damage but if they are losing on 10% white damage per second, higher skill damage doesn't actually do much.

6:44 if you have skill resets you should unlock all and then try and get to 1115 or 2115 (very unlikely I know) then lock everything except the first skill and max it, best way to get to 5115 (2/4 > 1/3 hits)

Skill damage just skill damage. Health is self-explanatory. Attack stat Amplifies skill damage, smite damage, normal attack (not to the degree of all damage) Hermann is a beast and I found the 4th skill which stacks all damage reduction to poisoned enemies is MASSIVE. My ZL/hermann was always the last standing in a big murderball. We all know how weak and targeted archers are.
Another I fully disagree with is him stating William doesn’t want to be expertised. I played with willliam at 5551 for a LONG time. When I maxed him I noticed a big jump in utility for my allies and damage output. IMO William is low key a beast. Aging like fine wine. In a setup up of huo/william, nev/joan, ZL/hermann, guan/scipio and Liu che/alex (all maxed).The two highest kill count commanders were huo and William by a long shot.
I think henry should be expertised considering almost nobody is going to be using him in the field and if youre going to use him it would be in a rally

I disagree with hermann prime. Yes 25 stacks is rare but why would u leave combat? Just keep pounding until u red and leave or die. yes ur target will try to run when he gets the purple numbers but u can hit other guys and not reset the 25 target. Besides all 4 of Hermanns skills are great even if someone agrees with the expertise.
Its often the fact that the target may die which evicts you from combat, or you get to far, or you die before 25 stack. Leaving combat counts as whenever you get a new report not like when you leave the actual field
this is an extremely dated way of thinking tbh. any commander youre using in soc you should be expertising. dont invest in a new commander if you dont have the heads to max it.

Hermann is the best bet I would get him to 5511 minimum and later 5551

Any Expertised makes a commander better but JP Expertised makes such a little difference that it's not worth all the GH 😅

this is an extremely dated way of thinking tbh. any commander youre using in soc you should be expertising.
dont invest in a new commander if you dont have the heads to max it.
That’s a strategy as well
But sometimes early soc people make a sacrifice on expertise for the ability to use their other marches
