@XXbellex to get a fishing rod, go to the dock every saturday and sunday, around 7-10 am, and 7-10 pm, you'll find some fisher, talk to him and you'll get a fishing rod. After that, you can go fishing and put all your fishes at your pool, just to the left of your chicken barn. After your fish is already reach 50 (u can check the number by hit start button), Greg (the fisherman) will come to your house and give you fishing pole (a better one to catch legendary fish). There you go :)
I always win cooking festival by using wathever recipe as long as I use golden ingredient like : golden egg, golden mayonaise, golden milk, and golden cheese.
@landfill2 to cook, first of all you have to have is the kitchen, to have a kitchen, you need to upgrade your house, to upgrade your house, go to Gotz, on the mountain, expand chicken coop, then expand house, and you'll have a kitchen, with a refrigerator to put a ingridients you found on town :)
@XXbellex only for SPRING. and only after you give 'em what they like, flour or honey is their favorite. If you just come in there at 2:50, they're not gonna ask you to join the tea party, watch the video! :)
I've found The best stunning juice I've just made and won : cucumber, turnip, milk (S), honey, apple, grape juice from supermarket and a mixer, that's all. No need to be friend with the dwarfs and no need relax tea :)
@XXbellex personally, I haven't try it yet, but ones I read it in Natsume forum, that you have to plants a very lots of grass,, maybe around 100square if I 'm not mistaken
@MrTino162021 plant any flower on your farm (but not in the hot house), minimum 10 flowers, and a bee should come to the apple tree when the flowers are already bloomed . :)
I know the mechanic of cooking festival.. every recipe could restore stamina and it differ from one recipe to another.. and i think the higher your meal could restore your stamina, the better chance you win the festival.. Doug best meal could restore around 82 stamina, which is his omelette recipe.. you can find more detail info about recipe stamina and how to make a better recipe at gamefaq.. tea default recipe could restore 70 stamina.. so you still could lose with tea.. Sorry for bad English.. lol
@David1233445 to make strawberry available to purchase you have to plant all kind of seeds and sell them when they can already be sold until each items reach 999, then you will got a mail from supermarket saying that "strawberry is here"
@David1233445 by watching the tv when saturday, press left for tv shopping, and then go to the inn, there's a phone in 1st floor, right from the bar. You can buy that utensil. 1 item per one week. :) If you already bought all the utensils, they will sell power berry
@StoleYuh well you can have two save file with a lots of animals, but diffrebts player and farm name, and what you gonna do is go to diary, and exchange the animal from the other save files.. and sell them :)
@flowerstarlove must be 3 pm, 3 till 5 pm. before 3 pm, cannot, after 5 pm, cannot :) and talk to them while you give 'em gift! they like honey and flour :)
@TheMattVis yes, every fish got it's own factor, like one of them, you'll have to sell 99 fish, or u have to make some sushi dish first, like that, I forgot, but yeah, it got it's own condition except the catfish, all you do is go to the cave at the center of the lake when winter comes, and keep going to the bottom until you find another cave and you can fish a legendaryCatfish down there with Fishing Pole :) Halah orang Indo juga toh ternyata! Baru liat! haha XD

Thus, every Cooking Festival/Cooking Contests, have an each category in 1st to 5th years: 1st Year: Juice/Beverages (not including Turbojolt, Turbojolt XL, Bodigizer & Bodigizer XL) 2nd Year: Sweets/Snacks 3rd Year: Bread 4th Year: Noodles/Udon 5th Year: Rice For 6th Year onward, each cooking category in random. Winning Cooking Festival/Cooking Contest each category also requiring marry to Gourmet/Bon Vivant in MFOMT/FOMT Remake. Thus, winning Cooking Contest also unlocking "Feast at your home" (if playing as Pete or Yuto, 6 male marriage candidate came to your house. If playing as Claire or Naomi, 6 female marriage candidate came to your house too for ate your cooking. This happen in Summer only. For each cooking request are "Favorite, Loved or Liked" Cooked foods. So, make sure for save-load which their cooking request to you)

@jasperkch no,just a the spring, bring 7 flour until 3 pm got in their house first talk to them (the orange one i recomend) if he talking about you must join the tea party then the party still not in progress cause you got in after 3pm changed if this is happen get out and get in again after that without 2nd thought, talk to nappy again, if he talk about join the party and you must bring some gift's then the party is already progress, just give the flour, if he says give to the other it's right.
@XXbellex it's normally caused by blizzard, yes it is normal, you just have to ask Gotz to build it again, xp Yap u can divorce if you never give something that your wife like, her heart might be decrease and divorce you
In my first game of this I married Karen and had the french fries recipe in my cabinet and she made french fries once, for the festival. She still lost but.
Awww, I JUST tried doing this and it didn't work for me. =( I didn't know you'd have to talk to them 1st and THEN give em gifts. I gave em all gifts and they just said "thank you" and whatnot and nothing happened. Bah! I'll have to try again next year...
@David1233445 every season has the 4 seeds at the market, then 1 sold by the guy at the inn, and 1 get's unlocked when you have sold 200 of each vegetable from that season. So for Spring, sell 200 turnips, potatoes, cucumbers, and cabbage. Then you'll get a letter in the mail telling you it's available. I just went to gamefaqs and found out that it's 100, not 200. But for the psp it is 200.

You'll have to give them at spring, and each harvest sprites must have at least 3-4 hearts if I not forgotten.

Harvest moon friends of mineral town which is a remake of Back to nature is getting a remake for the switch and it looks good.
