    Bagent proved he is a solid qb, qb coach and OC can mentor the young QB’s.

      Yes, I did watch the games. Just because they won against some shitty teams on the back of their defense doesn't mean that Bagent played "fine". Fields has been gone for damn near 2 months now, let it go

      @@haus119He operated the offense Getsy had envisioned and got the ball of when needed. He’s a D-II UDFA. Extremely impressive considering where he’s come from.

      @@haus119as a QB 2, he’s more than serviceable. First round QB’s struggle heavily, let alone someone who beat probability.

    Nothing wrong with 2 young Qbs. Bagent is solid as a backup and has qb1 potential for another team

    “Do you trust bagent”… a lot more than the mix of Dalton, Sanchez, glennon, etc that were brought in as “experience”😂

    I’m worry about the D.L O.L and we top heavy at the WR position not worry about the back up Q.B

    • @jameskeffer2972
      @jameskeffer2972 Před měsícem

      OT we’re fine. Guard, I’m somewhat worried about. Jenkins is injury prone and Davis kinda sucked last year. Center, meh. We got the guy from the rams. He’s an upgrade over Whitehair but how much is the question.
      D line I’m less worried about. Dexter and Billings are solid. Sweat is terrific. Booker is raw ik but I still think he’s a huge steal and an immediate upgrade over whatever tf we saw from Walker and Ngakoue last year. 😂

    • @jameskeffer2972
      @jameskeffer2972 Před měsícem

      It would be nice to sign another depth piece at guard and have Bates backup at Center and then get a real TE3 since Waldron likes using them.

    @Faiz with salary caps coming in June and Poles having 10 picks in next year's draft my answer is No. Like any good GM Poles will always seek to upgrade when he finds a player he likes.

    RT Theo Benedet will make the 53 man roster. In Edge rusher Austin Booker we trust. He'll be fine by week 5. However, if Yannick Ngakoue re-signs with the Bears that'll be a good move for Poles. Yannick is due for a good season.

  • @user-zq9zp9sj8s
    @user-zq9zp9sj8s Před měsícem

    Tannehill no way. Bagent was 2 and 2 in rookie starts. We don’t need an old QB that cannot run this new offense. Bears need to stay committed to the vision. Young athletic beasts. Love TB!

  • @chadaustin8914
    @chadaustin8914 Před měsícem

    Not so sure about having a veteran QB for experience. The bears have done this multiple times and are not so good on win losses. I am curious to see if Bagent has made progress. He may surprise as well. If the team is built right doesn't that mean it is just as good for Bagent. Chicago's QB's get hurt. Many QB's get hurt.

    I don’t trust no one else at the WR position after our top 3 studs we have other holes including D.L and O.L I truly believe we good every where else

    Bagent is a smart, hard worker. But the fact is, he has a noodle arm. He can’t make all the NFL throws. He won 2 games last year against 2/3 worst defenses and the opposing offenses were trash. Hes a good guy to have in the room, but if we have to turn to him for a lengthy time, we are fucked.

    The Bears QB room is GREAT. It is great because it has a true QB1 and is CHEAP. The NFL is all about cap structure. Your QB2 being competent and a rookie free agent is an enormous asset

    Actually, I am tired of bringing in a veteran QB. When has it ever worked? Seriously, maybe 2 out of 20 qbs brought in to the Bears ever worked out. How did Mike Glennon (or going back a ways) Cordell Stewart do as “veterans”?lol. I have way more confidence in Bagent than any of them.

    Bears bring in Ryan Tannehill he’s gonna cost $3-$5 million at least a season. I’d rather have Bagent. Mentorship is overrated in the NFL. Tannehill doesn’t even play the same way as Caleb Williams.
