    To help those who seem to care, I have received emails and text messages about me saying gel coat and then saying painted surfaces.
    In hopes in stopping the madness:)
    This RV is painted!
    After 27 years they are all the same to me..lol

    I have been around these for over 20-years and wondered about this question. Price is reasonable given the effort you have to do, that is a lot of surface to clean. Keep up the work and yes the tires were nice and shiny.

    You are right Scott. The roof of an RV is a very touch if you don't know what type you are dealing with. Is it vinyl ? is it rubber each surface needs to be cleaned diferently based on the material of the roof. The seals need to be treated to prevent them from drying out, and then a sealant needs to be applied for the UV. We have a 21 foot travel trailer and its a job to clean. Good job on this one.

  • @robertt8279
    @robertt8279 Před rokem +1

    Five years later and the going price is 20-25 a foot. Maybe just washing the outside. However, when you have this nice of an rv you have to clean the slide outs.

  • @jdisdetermined

    Great stuff, really appreciate you taking the time. I'm very curious about how you would price per foot for doing paint correction on an RV, not only a simple cleaning detail.

  • @holdenbaldassi3697

    I spent 10 hours washing a RV covered in mold and mushrooms growing on the roof. Charged $500 so it ended up being $50/hour and I felt like that was fair. I know this job is older but No way could I do $7/foot for the work I did especially in todays economy in Canada.

    • @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343
      @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343  Před 6 lety +4

      ACoustaDC yes even at 15 dollars a foot for this RV for 540 dollars Is reasonable in my opinion as well.
      I appreciate your offer but if I'm on vacation the last thing I want to do is work..lol
      I would have to charge you more normal fee plus travel and all expenses for hotel and food plus I would have to be compensated for The loss of income for my clients here going somewhere else because I wasn't available to them.
      Boy this is getting expensive..lol
      I would need several thousand to make it worth my while..lol
      If you have a RV and no doubt you like to travel, it would make sense if you ever in Dallas to just call me:)
      I know you were teasing, but it would be awesome to be a traveling detailer around the country!

      I’ve seen it both ways. I know this is an older video. Here in Arizona the average is $20/ft, and some do it how it sounds if it’s 40ft front to end on one side, it’s another 40ft on the other. So that’s $20/ft at 80ft up to 50/ft for hand wax and $80/ft for a ceramic coating. Just by research in my area.

    • @angelseliteautodetailing
      @angelseliteautodetailing Před 5 lety

      If it has gotten moldy on the foam underneath the carpet you will not get rid of it
      But try super clean bottle diluted 4:1 32oz bottle
      Spray scrip and wipe with microfiber towel

    • @CDdogg303
      @CDdogg303 Před 2 lety

      If you can, I pull the carpet clean out of the vehicle. Then I can degrease it and take it to a spray n wash or use your own pressure washer. I have gotten out some nasty stuff.

      Um, not sure I understand your comment. He’s not there selling his time, nor did the RV owner ask if he was for rent. The RV owner is asking and paying for a particular outcome - his RV to be cleaned. There is a market rate for that outcome. The resources the business uses to achieve that outcome are irrelevant. Time, materials, etc. used to achieve said outcome are irrelevant as the market rate for the outcome is what it is. You are willing to pay X amount of dollars for Y results. That’s it.
