I lived and worked there in 2014-2015. I remember the town and the people well. I like England and I will visit this place someday as a tourist. Greetings from Poland.
Thetford was much better back in the 70's and early 80's when i grew up there, not so "village" feel anymore but still my home town and of all the places ive lived its still the one place i truly miss !
Thetford is lovely, went there with my kids for the Fake Festival, and took a picture with the Dad's Army statue. Love from Ipswich, Suffolk

I enjoyed my few visits there. Especially arthur lowe Dads army statue. A lot of Eastern Europeans live there.

My dad lives on Abby farm and if I'm being honest I use to think it was great as I lived in Enfield with my mum so I'd see my dad every weekend, I wasn't seeing much of Abby farm to see the bad in it but moving up here in 2018 and living with my dad for a couple of years on Abby farm yeah that was a joke nothing but crackheads or rude lil sh*ts just being noisy and also careless parents ffs a couple of months ago I had to quickly grab this toddler out the road because he was running in the road with no carer just by himself.

Lived there for 25 years but haven't visited in 20 years it hasn't changed much except tearing down the anchor to replace it with a cinema?

No mention of antisocial behaviour a drug den and not alot of English people, however, push that aside the area is steeped in history and in the old parts rather quite beautiful.

Thetford is a lovely historical town. But due to the London overspill it’s not the same.
