  • With Lughnasadh coming up, my thoughts turn to how much I miss celebrating around a bonfire. Given the drought where I live, there's no fire, bon or otherwise, in my plans for the holiday, so I drew one instead!

    The antique Sakura pastels are about seventy years old, and belonged to my grandfather. He taught me most of my art foundations and I have held on to a few pieces of his art supplies so that I can use them in the undercoat of every oil pastel drawing I do.
