    Should have weighed infront of the crowd lads. Tare the cooler, participate accordingly, and regardless of the silly rules, would have had piece of mind. Lookin forward to next year if it can be straight up, but a wins a win, and a loss is a loss. Evidence can prove otherwise.

      We fully accept the loss. Titles just for excitement haha

    That hurts guys, but we've all made mistakes. You should have still got a courtesy weight just so you knew what could have been. Hope they lift the restrictions and we can come back over and fish.

      We weighed it after it clocked in at 121 sadly. We did it right but one little mistake cost us. Learning lesson none the less

    Bummer... were you just supposed to move that culled fish to a different cooler than the one you brought to weigh in?
    Great video none the less. Keep em coming!

      @danthefisher  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah the box is only supposed to have 6 fish in it max so that's just how it goes. Thanks man

    That sucks on the fish count, wonder what your box weight would have been.

      We weighed our 6 fish after without zeroing the bin (around 4 pounds) and it weighed 125lbs... that hurt the most lol

    I personally think that's not right to get Disqualified IMO. just because you have 7 Fish in cooler by mistake, its not like you intend to cheat the system and snuck the 7th fish on the scale. I am not trying to be biased. I think a good idea to take fish out of the cooler and count the fish on DOC 2 times when you arrive to Doc the boat.

      @danthefisher  Před 2 lety

      It's just how the rules work with most tournaments now. You are right though its kinda hard to cheat cause they pull the fish out anyways but still a mistake on our end.

    As the part of the team that won it, you can’t say you would have won when you got DQ’d. You can say all you want about your weight after the scales closed, but keep in mind you never Tare’d your massive chilly moose cooler when you weighed after the tourney.

    • @danthefisher
      @danthefisher  Před 2 lety

      We weighed our fish in the same bin as you guys not our chilly moose cooler.. We clocked it at 124 with out zeroing the bin before hand so you could imagine that bin isnt more then 5 pounds. All good man titles just for excitement you guys one it fair and square 👍
