On yesterday my air Compressor went broke. Took my tank to a paintball camp and their compressor went broke too and they emptied half of the air. Went to the range just to discover my FX crown cal .177 is having a Max speed of 760fps. Used all air doing tests. Today drove around 3 hours looking for Paintball camps and on 5 on my área story was the same: compressors under maintenance, broken, or owners not answering calls. Arrived home with no air on my tank and rifle and just see this title. You made me think man. Thanks. Obrigado desde Bogota.

Yes that's also a point to all springers!!! no compressed air needed.

Thinking wisely, The TX 200 is ultra reliable for thousands and thousands of pellets, did I mention pin point accurate and beautiful?

Even when you put it away for a few years,,,, when you need it,,, shoot a few pellets, and its ready to go... you can not do that with air tank rifle... .... period!

      Hello Sir.
Thankyou for your comment and opinion. I have a gorgeous Air Arms TX 200 mk3 in walnut .177.
I like .177 for the flatter trajectory. May I ask Sir, do you find much difference in terms of using hold over for the heavier .22 pellet? I like the idea of the bigger .22 pellets, but just like the idea of the faster, flatter trajectory of the faster .177 pellet. Its a tough call, fine line.
I would be grateful of any relevant opinions/people's thoughts on this subject.
Thankyou to the gentleman for his film. I too think, the TX is a fantastic air rifle.

@@ianwoods1384 I hunt differently than most people. An example: With my .177 I recently shot 7 rats at 18.5 yds from the same seated position. With my .22lr Rough Rider revolver I've shot 731 rats from 7'-15' from the same exact spot over a 5.5yr period. I sight my gun, pistol or crossbow to a reasonable range and set an ambush at that exact distance in hunting. My .22 TX-200 hits about the same as my .177 out to 22yds, which is my self-imposed max springer range so, to me, they are equal.

About weight... better check factory oficial site for real info.
they are all heavy from factory, then a big scope and a large stock make them very very heavy.... and for me and my back better if it's not very heavy.

5 reasons why you should maybe consider to choose for the Weihrauch HW97 instead. Cheaper, the world famous"Record" trigger, more power, no irritating anti bear trap release button, better acces to loading port (from both sides). I,m an absolute Air Arms fan and they are great rifles with a superb finish, but more has to be told.
