Water Polo Women's Semi-Final Round, United States v Australia. Full Replay from the Water Polo Arena at the London 2012 Olympic Games, 7 August 2012.
Water polo made its Olympic debut at the Paris Games in 1900. It was not included in 1904 but would be present at each subsequent edition of the Olympic Games.
In the early days, the players rode on floating barrels that resembled mock horses, and swung at the ball with mallet-like sticks. This made it similar to equestrian polo, hence its name.

Just realized you have to have good eyesight to play water polo because I sure as heck can't play this sport with the horrible eyesight I have. My glasses are sure to break, and I don't think contacts would be such a good idea.

It was penalty, No doubt. Referees were favourable to USA all the match. The penalty was right. I'm neutral. I don't prefer Australians. They had the most unlucky day of the entire tournament. And lack of self confidence.
