  • Highlights of the #13 Razorbacks 41-14 rout of the Tigers in 1998. Clint Stoerner would throw for 334 yards and two scores as the Hogs would roll up over 500 yards of offense in their first win over LSU since 1993.

One of the best WR corps in Arkansas history.

Awesome. I am an Arkansas Razorback fan. I don't care about the SEC, don't care about other colleges, don't care about the NFL, don't care about Canadian football. If you ain't a Hog you ain't - well, you just ain't. Sooie!

This was a very talented Arkansas team in which Houston Nutt got credit for, but they were Danny Ford upper classmen, so the credit should go to him.

Nutt was an ego maniac. They say he used to sit naked in front of a full length mirror and blow kisses to himself.

Yes for the recruiting but Danny Ford could have never pulled a season like this off. All of us who were at the 97 SMU game in Shreveport know this as fords staff didn't even know they scored and lined up for a 2 pt conversion thinking it was first down. Danny cared little for the Hawgs.

@@ionicreek355 Ford was a great recruiter, but he never really had the passion for Arkansas football. Four losings seasons in five years as head coach. The 1995 season when Arkansas won the SEC West and his ability to recruit were his only saving graces. Hell, Ford got the job by sheer luck; that, and Broyles hiring a guy to be the head coach (Jack Crowe) who never should have been considered and it ended in disaster.
I have often wondered what the Razorback football program of the 1990s would have looked like if Broyles hadn't run off Hatfield, a guy that had just won back-to-back SWC championships! I am confident that there wouldn't have been such a dramatic drop off in talent and production on the field, and the Hogs would have been in a much better place as they entered the SEC in 1992. Not saying they would have won the division or conference right away, but I don't think they would have been bottom feeders in the West for five of the first six years either.

@@redleg1971 Hatfield would have done much better. than Crowe. If you look at the 1990 stats it was the defense that fell apart. Goldsmith knew he didn't have the talent to play man to man and used a bend but don't break approach.

Don Criqui called Kevin Faulk “Marshall” the entire game. He should been fired immediately following the game. What an insult to one of the greatest running backs in SEC history.
