I'd love to see a cookup using the same process, but with Ableton. Also interested in learning how to use the transport on the ASR to trigger the transport in Ableton, I've never heard anyone talk about that before

Thanks for the suggesting I was laying in bed thinking just this same thing. I’m gonna put this together and see how it goes. Appreciate you rocking with me and the channel! ❤️‍🔥💯🫡

Might check it out but I’m kinda locked in with fl studio and Ableton since I bought licenses for those two. Ableton Suite was crazy bread and I sometimes subscribe to pro tools. Have heard some good things from some producers who use studio one but not sure I can afford it and the time it will take me to master/learn it. Appreciate you sharing this 💯💯🫡

@@freeplaysamples Bro studio one replaced pro tools in a lot of studios in the Chi you can't go wrong

I got the eps16+ learning it but was thinking about incorporating FL so this was mad useful

I feel like maybe I should have got the EPS or ASR rack mount instead to get the Sonics but then use something else to program/sequence. On the EPS16 Im losing samples every time I turn it on and off, also cutting the loop point start and end points is fine to do but not once I’m recording in the sequence. the REC function is a bit of a struggle, only had it 2 days tho, thanks for the content✌🏼

take your time with it and understand different ways of working with it. I barely save anything on my ASR but its value is beyond many synths and samplers you can find today. the eps16+ is a beast as well and sometimes regarded as "better" than the ASR because it tends to be more stable and less issues (no overheating, etc.) take your time to learn it and you'll be glad you did. a lot of the asr concepts and functions are similar so, hopefully these vids help out. 💯🫡
