I think a time travel expansion pack could be so cool. Like have a medieval time period and a futuristic time period you could visit.
Ugh, yes, I would love that. I really want to do the decades challenge as I love history, but it's difficult to do without mods or cc.

Tbf castles did historically house quite a lot of people, between royals, their families, their courtiers, their extensive staff, and diplomatic/extended family/noble visitors (who would stay for a while due to how long it would take to travel iirc)
I was thinking that too. Especially of the noble visitors would be there awhile, they'd have brought much of their own personal staff. Many castles, also, in times of impending war, would open the castle grounds to any village near them before barricading the entrance.
Video idea: when the relationship boundaries update comes out on July 25th I think I'd be a funny idea to see just how many sims you could put in a polycule 😂😅

The details in the Wild West town, the Pyramids and the Japanese style build... I... actually don't know how to put into words how incredibly impressive and beautiful these builds are. The dining hall party place room on the medieval build at around 6:20 looks EXACTLY like one that can be found in Baldur's Gate, like it's pretty much the same, I wonder if the builder took more inspiration around the castle from the game

The 1600s wasn't the medieval period, though. That was around 1066-1485.
And bourgeoisie was the rich, proletariats were the poor. Both were coined several centuries after the 1600s.

Life's been kinda hard lately and watching these builds reminds me of I Hate It Here by Taylor Swift.

As an Australian, it blows my mind that not every country has their toilets in a separate room. Here in Australia, it is not uncommon for ensuite bathrooms to have the toilet in the bathroom. But the main bathroom and toilet are always separate (unless you live in a tiny apartment). Usually, the toilet (toilet room) is found right near the bathroom or in the laundry. Toilets don't often have a sink in the room. Usually, you walk into the bathroom to wash your hands or use the laundry sink outside the toilet. But in some cases, the toilet is more of a powder room with a sink and mirror as well as the toilet.
When we built our house, the original plan had the toilet open to the rest of the ensuite with only a privacy nib wall. The ensuite also didn't have a door between it and the master bedroom. We fully closed in the toilet so that we could close the door while pooping and not stink out the ensuite. We also added a sliding door between the ensuite and master so that if one of us was awake earlier or later than the other, we wouldn't wake each other with the ensuite lights.
Loved this challenge! It was so much fun seeing everyone’s builds.
New game update or sims pack! Historical would be nice! I guess the closest to that maybe would be garden pack or Wittenberg? Maybe just a thought

That castle...im seriously impressed. Its not 100% accurate, as they didnt use the cc for certain things, but yea...its pretty close, even with the secret passages for servants. Im so glad i clicked on this video! ❤

The description in castle build mentioned the castle was erected in 17th century (way too late for medieval period), so I wonder if we have a Neuschwanstein situation here.
Baroque castle? Cannons were making castles irrelevant by then, anyway.
Let’s just call it another ,, Neuschwanstein“ fiasco HAHA I didn’t thought it through when I wrote the description.
14:12 to be fair to the place, Sharm El Sheik has the beautifully stunning Al Sahaba mosque though, which is just a great piece of architecture imo (wether you're of any religion or not). But yea, not really as much pyramids and pharaohs etc, and it's a very touristy-resorty destination that is likely full of influencers these days :')

I always wonder if there is a team or something behind the mega project type builds, since there’s no way they could be a single parent or something and find the time to create these incredible masterpieces - I’m not saying single parents - being a single mum myself - cannot be creative and talented, I’m simply stating that I don’t know how they could allocate the time required to create such a masterpiece

I would love an expansion pack that's based off of literally any country/locale that isn't something they've already done. Seriously, anything other than typical "Western" countries. South America, Egypt, any other part of Africa, Baltic regions - just _please_ give us something other than North America! (and yes, I know they've given us Japan and Thailand inspired worlds, but we need more!

@FGG: The simlish on the old map seems to say AMAE ACLE STAR. Not sure if it was supposed to be one word. This could be wrong, they don't always use the alphabet consistently. Also it's fuzzy so not 100% sure.

Frankly, pyramids of Giza being next to modern buildings is fairly accurate. There is a whole ass city next to them in real life.
