Honestly hate woody sometimes but 200 IQ. He was so spot on with the fact that twitch and discord both held on to the ban. It would turn out the inappropriate comments happened through twitch’s whisper type thing. He did have a whole discord community where no doubt the same stuff happened. He even went to court over it civilly and they hold onto the ban.

My guess is that they kept the reason for the ban quiet (initially ofc) as a favour to Doc. Dude made a lot of money for their platform, and I can see a scenario where if the messages weren't too egregious Twitch agrees to just ban him.
Edit: Also, Harley's right on the loss of income thing. (At least in Australia.) It's common practice for an injured party to sue for loss of future income, but calculation of damages often gets pretty wonky - there's no set formula (Though there are limits and guidelines), and it's often up to the judges in the case. An interesting example of this occurred when a judge used a the school reports/grades of a paralysed 8 year old to calculate future income.
