My take on the Cristiano Ronaldo, penalty shoot-out goal 1 for Portugal (5 July 2024)

Here I (Tanis Leonhardi; she/her/hers; of Seattle) talk through the Cristiano Ronaldo (of Portugal), shoot-out goal 1 for Portugal at the 2024 European Football Championship in Germany (in the Portugal, final score of 3, versus France, final score of 5, match on Friday 5 July 2024 - scores per end of penalty shoot-out points). In the penalty shoot-out stage of competition he scored a goal, goal 1 for Portugal, for the first space in the penalty shoot-out line-up for his team. I provide my take/perspective on his performance and contextualize it in terms of whether I consider the goal scoring.
