As an introvert myself I concur with your thoughts on the most effective speakers being introverts. When faced with an impending presentation I PREPARE, PREPARE and PREPARE again by firstly scoping out the details of the presentation and thereafter practicing delivering the presentation multiple times in a private room. By adopting this approach it gives me the confidence that I have the knowledge of the subject matter and I can articulate my thoughts clearly.
We have a saying the UK: If you fail to prepare you prepare to fail!
On Public Speaking: Agree...a speaker, no matter how prepared or good in speaking...must always set the heart and mind and build the interest ...set the mood for the listeners to be teachable and willing to absorb the message...otherwise...the info will just remain in the venue & not in their hearts to apply it. The mission to impart & cause the listener to take action in order to benefit from the message in real life and not just to take home the knowledge. The impact could be greater if a speaker can cause his listener to share what he learned and apply it the soonest with a support group. With this, I want to thank you, Coach Lyqa for taking the time, effort and heart to share what you believe in to be worth sharing.. it's bearing fruit...keep on. God bless you for your generosity. Ate, I think you are ambivert (not introvert) in my opinion. Yakang yaka mo kasi mag-deliver ng talk before hundreds of audiences.
Kaya ng introvert yan. In fact, they're the best speakers.
@@thousandyardgavri2785 I didn't imply introverts can't. What I meant she may want to reconsider classifying herself as beyond introvert. Lahat naman ng tao, in all honesty, can be ambivert. It's just that she based it on the results from personality tests she has taken several times.
