Boukman was born in Senegambia, and enslaved in Jamaica, at 14 years old he was sent to another plantation in Haiti where he was raised by Cecile Fatima. also, the man makandal the lady from the shop mentioned was the man that started the Haitian revolution years prior. Google the black messiah makandal, and click on CZcams
I love and enjoy your videos. Haiti is beautiful 🇭🇹 ❤️
I added my like and shared
Am sending a zelle your way. I need you to buy a Haiti bracelet. You can wear it for yourself or buy for someone. I visited Haiti some years back and got a bracelet but forgot to pay. Trying to atone for it.. Big up sis. Keep exploring and having fun
@African Tigress
Wow!! The people of Haiti have been treating you like family. I love the people!
I also love that STUNNING cafe you stopped at to work!!!! What a gem that place is!😊
Haitian never forget their history, culture, and their ancestors.
This series on Haiti is award winning material. You’ve gone to a next level AT. Props!
This woman is Haitian , I m telling you the sister is so comfortable home ❤
❤❤❤❤
I give an honorary statute “ Haitian for life” and declare her our owns. Sorry Kenya we stole this one from you, a real gem. She should come back
This is one of the most greeness country I have ever seen. I love it.
You know that already, you’re Haitian 😆
African Tigress, what you are doing by showcasing Ayiti positively is a beautiful thing. Especially now with all the negative images the legacy media shows, you have burst that image. Ayiti is a breathtakingly beautiful, spiritual country. God's land. Wow! God bless you and protect you. This is spiritual.
I have to visit in the near future. Your fellow sister from Kenya.
Yes.
Greetings, African Tigress!
As a Caribbean woman, Trini to the Bone ( My father is Trinidadian), but born in the U.S. Virgin Islands, I thank you for showing how wonderful the Caribbean is to be, live, work and enjoy the fruits of one's labor.
I especially appreciate you for showcasing the Caribbean especially Haiti, the first free black nation outside of the motherland, where you were born. Incidentally, I started following you about 6 years ago. I was told that I resemble you and that I should follow especially that I have Kenyan roots. Truth be told, we didn't ask to be brought to the Caribbean, but our African Ancestry is the glue that makes us all so unique and have such a definitive heritage that many covet. We are the salt of the earth. So, though we have such a painful past and still going through many challenges, we must be grateful to God for the free spirit we do have. I love your free spirit. It is admirable. Keep going!
Well done on the Haiti Videos.
In this video, I do have a slight rebuke. I wish you had purchased the t-shirt from the nice lady yourself as a thank you to Haiti, and the warm hospitality you have received. (On the flip side it not a bad thing to receive a gift.) I just didn't think that you should go there to haggle with anyone. That wasn't a good look. You should have planned accordingly to buy at least two of the shirts the blue and the yellow, the wood artifact with the island map and flowers, you know they don't have any tourists coming there now. I know it is not easy for you as you are solo on your trips, and have had issues there staying longer in one place and had issues with finding a bank. So, I am sensitive to your needs as well. But, you are filming there and gaining content to showcase them though outsiders are still skeptical to travel there.
Note that you are the one gaining the most with the monetization of your content, the one's that don't get deleted that is. It's a shame this is happening. Nevertheless you can also help the locals by sewing a seed in their businesses. Didn't the hotel or air bnb owner let you stay for free? Pay it forward. I saw that you did give money, but you said I don't have much while doing it. I know you are not rich in money but in spirit, and God gives man the ability to get wealth. However, you most likely have more than most of them you met. So, you next time, plan ahead and portion out an amount to give as a token of your love, and if you can do so in private.
Haitians have it hard in comparison to other islands you have visited but their spirit is so rich and full of faith and pride in their country. I love that for the most part they go on with their lives no matter what and that is so encouraging.
I just wanted to leave some wisdom and hopefully you can glean from them and reap the rewards of the your faith and the abundance that is yours in this life.
Thank you for listening and have a wonderful, safe and restful rest of your stay in Haiti and the Caribbean!
Yes, people of Caribbean are lovely, warm, generous people.
AT, you have visited more places in Haiti than most Haitians in their lifetime. This is such a green country, what a beautiful island. Haiti fits you like a glove. I can envision you living there forever. You have an impeccable vibe and I would definitely host you if I were in Haiti.❤!!
So true 😂
Tout peyi nan mond lan gen negativ gen positiv ok
The vibe of the Great Kenyan Sister, Wangari Matai, is in You!❤ Jacob NYC🇭🇹
You are the bravest, humble young lady on CZcams...I love your videos. You are more than welcome in Haiti !!
This is something to marvel at. When we are left alone with no outside interference we do not prey on our women, children or others. Its mostly outside interference that causes strife among us from Haiti to DR Congo. Love to see our people united in peace, love and happiness.
I'm so jealous of your adventures. These guys seem way cool! Haiti has been so much fun. Love the coconut water break!
Right now Haiti putting to shame some of these countries that talk so much isssh about her 😂
Be like Haiti, it pays to be humble put your pride to the side and let your greatness show ❤
Both Cap Haitian and Jasmel could be great cruise ports.
Cap Haitian is a cruise port. Labadee, where Carnival Cruise makes a port of call, is just outside of Cap Haitian.
@@Aydin-AdamRoyal Caribbean hehe. We miss out on a Carnival cruise port in La Tortue aka Tortuga.
Jacmel they play jazz there.
It’s amazing to see, you went to the south even PAP and the north of Haiti… and was able to get around and explore yet we’re led to believe Ayiti is unlivable.
The Haitian government should reach out to you and give you some sort of honorary ambassador award… or even honorary tourism minister of Haiti. The best promotion of the country to date!
On Behalf of Haitian people we❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ u so much. You occupy a special place in our hearts Once again thank you because you show the world the true Haiti. You shut down those racists international community and their media as well who hate Haiti and never lift their feet on Haiti neck. The stories behind machetes in Ayiti is that during our revolution we didn't have guns nor any other weapons, so we use it to fight our oppressors as well as set their houses on fire. There is a phrase in kreyol we used it's koupe' tet boule' kay, which the slaves uses when using the machetes.
We had guns of course, Haiti had a regular army with officers that have had many campaigns in the french army that was the strongest in that time. A lot of the mulatos were sent to france for education. Of course it was a real revolution of the people and to the limitations of armaments even the regular folks or even some infantry would carry machetes. But get it out of your mind that is was a bunch of black folks with machete that defeated the napoleon army. Toussaint Louverture was a defacto governor of Haiti for many years with his army, Toussaint defeated the British, Spanish to keep the island for france, thats the indigenous army that Dessalines was able to use added to any regular person that wanted to be free.
We even gave other nations that we helped gained their independence logistic support. most of us don't even know our own history, so we say things that distort our own history. this person obviously don't know why capois last name switched to la mort.@@Addi_Teacha509
Why don't you just keep quiet instead of distorting your own history? do you think it was machestes our ancestors used to defeated all those military powers and also to helped all those other countries to gained their independence? Al chita act parole tafia'w la
Happy To See You Roody

@@509LM no I'm not. I just know haiti haha
It's always with great love I watch you sister ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤!!! Jacob NYC 🇭🇹
African Tigress, you have out done yourself. This will never be forgotten. You have revived the history of Haiti. The architectural marvel of the citadel blew my mind. I wish I had gone to see it when I was able to climb that mountain. It takes more than one day to see and contemplate on the whole of that place. Talking about human ingenuity! I wish I could purchase some of those art works. Rich black people around the world should come to Haiti to purchase art works for their homes. Now, non black people will come and buy them, and take them back to their countries and sell them for an arm and a leg.
Sending love from🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦❤
Omg -that is so sad they remove the cruise ships business around there
They move it completely?

Good evening African Tigress! If you're going to stay in Cap Haitien a little longer, I think you should now visit Labady. I heard it's a beautiful place.

Yes. The yellow one does stand out.
Hello african my love😊
Liberty is the moral imperative to act in a just and responsible way." Freedom, on the other hand, is an external force that enables us to do what we want. It is the ability to act on our desires and impulses without any interference.
Also: Liberty emphasizes the importance of individual rights and the limitations of government power, while freedom is more focused on the ability of individuals to pursue their own interests. In practice, this can lead to different political ideologies and policies.
