Successes of UT Health San Antonio’s lung cancer screening program

Arlene Reyes, MD, family medicine physician, discusses the lung cancer screening program at UT Health San Antonio, and the impact our partnership with the American Cancer Society has had on expanding lung cancer screening to at risk individuals. By encouraging providers across all UT Health San Antonio primary care offices, we were able to identify eligible patients, and increase the number of screenings from 7% to 25% over the last two years.
