Also to make matters worse some teachers don't do anything about it. I've been a victim of bullying and I thought of giving you an advice from my experience. I don't wanna dive in too much into the story, so I'll try to keep it short. I was bullied almost my whole school life. The first time I tried standing up for myself was by telling my teacher, who was present in the incident. She handle the situation perfunctorily, so this person continued to bully me afterward. Due to this experience, I kept all my troubles to myself and learnt not to depend on anyone. In the present, which was like in 6th or 7th grade, the person started going around asking for homework because they were too lazy to do their's. I was the type of student who everyone wanted to be like (the smartypants, idk y). Due to that, I was targeted. Obviosuly I was such a pushover back then, so I gave my homework. Long story short, it was the last time he asked me for my homework because of what I did had left him shooketh. I finally gathered my courage and the moment he asked for my homework I told him "No, why dont do your own homework!" Infront of his friends. LMAO, even his friends were shocked as well. That was the best moment of my life.
Piece of advice. (Im not an expert, just speaking from experience and did some research :)
Im not sure if you're still experiencing bullying, but if you were I would say ;
1. If you've ever talked to anyone and they told you these three phrases (IGNORE IT, STOP BEING SO SENSITIVE, and JUST AVOID THEM ), they weren't of any help. Ignoring the bullying doesn’t help and being called sensitive is just particularly harmful and toxic to say someone. It's okay to feel upset or angry, all we really need to do is acknowledge them and see how we can approach our feelings. Lastly, by someone saying "JUST AVOID THEM," they are minimising and undermining the problem. It's also not realistic to think that these situations can be easily avoided. It is better to acknowledge what is happening and try to think of ways to combat or resolve the bullying.
2. Talk to someone you can trust. Ik I didn't talk to anyone about this. It doesn't mean you shouldn't. I used to think that telling someone will just make it worse, so I wouldn't bother.
It can feel exposing and uncomfortable talking about our experiences of being bullied, that’s why talking to someone we trust can make a difference. You shouldn’t go through something like this alone as it is extremely stressful, and can be emotionally draining to endure bullying.
3. Fight back! ... okay, bullying isn’t always something you can meet with force as it can very easily spiral out of control. Often reacting in an aggressive manner can make the situation worse and can put you at risk of physical harm, instead you can confront this bully. Before I continue, It takes time to grow a spine like I did. Im not sure if this person physically, verbally, or emotionally bully's you. Since Idk your story, Im not sure if this advice I'm about to give will help, hopefully it does.
Here's the catch, I've noticed that being confronted around people makes you feel timid. No one wants to appear wrong in front of others. It makes you feel outnumbered. This only works well in the event of the situation especially when there are people around you. When this person starts bullying, prolly demanding you to do something for them like in most cases. Wait for them to finish and then say NO. Explain to them why you wouldn't do it, state you're worth (like Im not doing no shit for anyone), and speak up for any victims. From there WALK AWAY,and if they try to put their hands on you. SMACK it and warn them not to touch you.
Yeah. And that hits even harder after everything has passed. It could be weeks, years or decades. Bullying is traumatic. But the bullies just... live their lives and forget about everything they have done. That's so unfair.
Yep and that shame doesn't stay just for that one moment..it continues throughout and at every moment you'll still feel like the one who can easily be bullied so you're always defensive.
This girl only suffered throughout the show. Her death really broke my heart it hurt 😞

The fact that her fall which led to her death ended in the angel statue's arms is really representative of her character. Min Seol Ah was full of kindness, of humility and of courage. All people who hurt her seriously deserve GFN Nanno to be at their doorsteps.

Min Sol Ah could ask him for help, she could ask him for money, but even when her dog got sick and needed an operation, she did not ask her brother for money. She wanted to do everything herself, she wanted to live on her own. She was full of kindness, confidence, and love.. The people of Hera's palace killed her, I don't feel sorry for them, they deserved everything that happened to them...
The saddest thing is everyone seems to have forgotten her in season 2 . I'm still waiting for her justice 😭😭

Min Seol-A is more the sacrifice trope. Seol-A directly challenged the highest authority in Herapalace by herself. She is brave but silly she doesn't have any power to fight against them. She should have told Logan about how those people treated her. I think Logan will strike a business deal with Joo Dan-Tae to save Seol-A. If she did she would have the trump card card which a powerful brother who would do anything for her so no one will dare to harm her with the affair tape to her advantage to get Cheon Seo-Jin. But instead she used affair tape while being powerless. This is what put her in danger.
Well she is 16 year old .. Teenagers do that.. when we were teens we were fearless plus she was just innocent from the remark she said to Joo Dan Tae she seemed like she thought they wouldn't go that far..

True. What she did was clever but she clearly messed with the wrong people. Of whom were very powerful and influential compared to her, a poor orphaned girl with no parents whatsoever. She was brave, but she shouldn't have messed and threaten them with silly things. It was quite clear that even if she had proof, they could still get away with it because they're rich and powerful. I feel bad for her. She worked everyday without breaking a sweat just to provide for her and her dog. And the fact that she died without knowing who her real mother was.
Min Seol Ah deserved better. She had such an impact on me when watching this drama, like not only her story but she was just so innocent that a lot of people can relate to her. Still my favourite character, such a pity that Seol Ah died. Jo Soo Min deserves to get more main leads in dramas, kind of tired that she majority gets guest or support roles.

I haven't watched this show and reading the comments I don't even want to watch it now but one thing I feel strongly is that sometimes justice can't be served. No matter what verdict is passed on these villains even if they're sentenced to death that girl is dead and gone. It's an irretrievable loss. Nothing is going to set it right and that's the biggest tragedy and injustice.

She was so happy when someone wanted to adopt her because it seemed like her first time to have a family, but she was brought back because she was accused of stealing something , then her step brother didn't even help him. She worked as a Tutor even though it was illegal because she was still young and she didn't have a license. Then when she studied in Cheonga she got bullied because her classmates that were the ones she taught(when she was a tutor) didn't like her in first place, then they were even more Angry because she placed top 1, She got Bully and nobody is defending her, even if she complains no one will believe her because they are all toxic, and only her Dog is the one who's always with her. They are making an issue about Seola. She didn't know who's his/her real parents. And her death is still not given justice, They don't know how difficult Seola's life is, People are Criticizing her and even when she dies they are still happy. They even set up Seola's death for people to not suspect and act like she didn't die in the Building/Palace, and they didn't know that she get bullied before she died. SEOL AH IS VERY STRONG, I CAN LITERALLY SEE HOW SHE FIGHT FOR HER LIFE WITHOUT FAMILY AND FRIENDS

I love this edit, it shows how impeccable was Seolah morality, she was always eager to learn, worked hard and could even smile regardless of all the obstacles.
