Hi Kevin. Great video again. My parents have stayed there for years. There's a quicker walk if you cross the road, on the other side of the shops which leads to many bars and restaurants then steps down which lead you to beside Zara on the golden mile/ Safari centre. Just a 5 min walk.

Yes towards the Mercadona side but stay on the right hand side of the shops, pass the large building (think it's a Police building) cross the main road (you'll see a pedestrian crossing) then straight down. You will see lots of bars etc ( this is Camison). If you want to go to the Safari then go straight down, past all the bars & small shops, until you come to a large electrical shop with a car park behind it. Cross the car park and you'll see lots of steps leading down to just beside Zara shop near to .(Vista Sur) Hope this helps

Totally agree with you Kevin, as you said 10/15mins ain't far but you need cafés bars etc to make walk enjoyable,drink here and there but there's nowt cheers 👍

Hi Kevin we have stayed at Compostella Golf for the past 25 years in a private owned apartment the complex was renovated completely in 2019 and it’s very smart now. Totally agree about location. We now do not go for personal reasons. to the left of reception is schools and colleges also a municipal swimming pool 🏊♂️. Around the golf course there are abou 8 other hotel .thanks for showing this video.

Stayed here for many a year. Two lovely bars across the road and plenty of shops. If you come out of Compostela and turn left, there is no bars, however we always walk to the left as its a nice walk to Los Cristianos past the school.

Hi Kevin. I’ve stayed in a few of the hotels around the golf course: Gran Oasis, Villa Mandi and Madrigas. It’s actually only 5-10 mins walk from that hotel to Las Vistas. Cross the road and head down the hill then steps. Also, lovely bar / cafe over the road in Parque Santiago 6. 👍

We have stayed in the marylanza next door a couple of times .it’s not a bad walk down to central strip we’re in our 70s .as you say nice 10 minute walk .up the other way is the Granada apartments and the oasis .not much up there to be honest .we’re booked for first time into the coral compastela beach &golf feb 23 for 4 weeks and so looking forward to it .we’re self catering and the mercado shopping mall is great across the road .be happy to share another review after we have stayed .

Some friends of ours had the apartment on the first floor on the left overlooking the pool, it was a lovely apartment but we used to get a taxi to the safari centre on an evening or walk to Los christianos which is probably nearer like you said it’s a bit far out

@@ScotsmaninTenerife when we stayed in compostella golf there was nothing in front of the complex where the mercadona supermarket is, it must be 20 years ago when we were there
We have booked here for next year because apartment size appealed to us as a larger family. We don't mind a little walk anyway. Looks good with supermarket opposite

They look amazing Kevin, and to walk out would be ok, but it’s the getting back once you are in town, you don’t want a walk with nothing in between for 15/20 minutes 😔
Another place I stayed at many many years ago. Terrible layout for getting to the resort and the main road come darkness is full of lady’s of the night

ALEGRIA Barranco better location but i havent stayed in them both , if you want to be closer to bars ALEGRIA Barranco better but Golf ones quiet if you prefer that.

Hi Kevin fellow glaswegian stayed here for my honeymoon and truly brought back memories of it when we got married and went here with daughter and wife, looking to go again next year is there anything you can recommend for nice little trips or things to do in tenerife especially for kids to be involved.
Personally liked the pool complex with bar think kids would love that keep up good videos.
