now finally you post here - this is really a nice work | tutorial...i need to try from your template....thanks.
Amazing build Nick. Now I have to make one!
Thanks Ted! I'd love to see that!
You are an artist and if I were Saruman I would definately hire you
Yeah
Fantastic video and build Nick! The texture you got with the cotton and neoprene is really fantastic.
Thanks guys! That's my new favorite technique. :)
Yeah, the creation of that texture is such a good technique. I'm going to have to try that!
Finaly...pure realism in foam smithing. I got a new favorite, looking forward for the next video.
It's rare to get such high quality content from a youtube channel from the get-go. You have done an amazing job!
Thanks so much!
Amazing! you inspired me to build an entire cosplay from your helmet build! Thank you for this 🙏💓
Wow that was too good. I’ve watched it three times now and still can’t get over the realism. You should 100% make more vids.
Well done lad. 👍🏼
Fantastic job Nick!!!
Thanks Steve! I'm loving this HD Foam!
That was a Masterclass. Well done indeed!
Amazing helmet, and amazing video too. Great stuff!
Thank you so much for doing this and especially making the template free. I'll be making this for my Halloween costume.
Excellent video! Brilliant piece as well!
Amazing job! I really enjoyed this tutorial!!
Nicely done, simple and also great.
So glad you will be posting videos now, perfect build by the way💯💯💯
Love the care you put into it
Realism, very nice work.
Awesome work mate. Great to see the small scale patterning in practise. Its something i have been considering for my mecha build.
Really really amazing work man! Looking forward to seeing more of it!
Thank you!
Beautiful job! Really cool techniques used!
Thank you!
When your props look better than the film.used props, you know you are good.👍
Thanks!
Yeah you're on CZcams! Fantastic edit and build!
This was incredible! I can't wait to see your next video!
Thank you!!
It's a beautiful work man! Congrats! I will follow you from now on! ✌️
Always loved your work! Looking forward to seeing more videos!
Thank you very much!
I love the contrast between your work and Punished Props. Your work feels more professional and clean, whereas Bill and Britt's give that "over at a friends for smithing" vibe.
Haha, thanks! Truth be told, I learned much of what I know about prop making from Bill and Britt. :)
Such a cool helmet! I’ve never seen that cotton batting technique before. It really gave it an amazing finish
That is seriously bad ass! New fan of your channel here. Keep building please!
stellar work man
Iam so glad you started that channel!
Excellent, to the point from start to finish. SKS Props foam is a great product.
I've never attempted anything like this, but I wanted to make one of these helmets so bad back when the films came out. I think I'll finally get the chance to attempt it!
Beautiful video, can't wait to see more! When I first saw your cotton batting technique I really enjoyed creating it with Mod Podge and cotton balls, and I can't wait to use it again.
It's my new favorite technique! :)
Awesome video. Great production, nice explanation of each step, great prop. Can't wait for the next video.
Thank you!
Love the build but also loving your style of build video!
That is awesome man!! It just kept getting better and better. The end result is very authentic. The red lighting is aces.
Awesome work man!
Thanks!
Outstanding work and some amazing tips. Can't wait to see your next video and learn more. Will definitely be checking out your website.
Thanks!
Amazing work mate. I’ll definitely be taking some tips from this one for my own projects 👍🏻
Thanks! Glad you found it useful!
your project is quite amazing and your video production is done very well, high quality for sure
Thank you so much!
Very clean work! It's nice to see more people uploading tutorials like this in CZcams! 😊
Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic!
Thanks!
Such amazing work! Thank you for the great tutorial love the channel.
holy cow! that looks amazing!!!
Amazing video! Really good quality, especially for your first on the channel!
Thank you!
Awesome job!
You are an amazing artist!
Thanks so much!
Incredible skills!
Super cool paint job
Thanks!

Welcome to the CZcams props community! \o/ I am thrilled every time an awesome person like you decides to share your awesomeness with us! XDDDD
Thank you!! :D
Great work!
Love the video, and thank you for sharing the colors you used. I just finished building one myself out of PLA and found this very helpful.
Very cool! I'm glad the video was helpful 😄
That's amazing man !!!!
Phenomenal work! I need to try this build out for sure! Also a new subscriber now.
Thank you so much!
This is a really great tutorial!
Thank you thank you!
That looks amazing, this really makes me wanna try something like this❤
You should definitely try it!
Wow , very impressive 👍🏻
Great job.
So cool!
Wow! I'd love to work more on Props on my channel, I mostly do 3D printing at the moment but this is so incredible!
Thanks!
Very well done sir.
The cotton texturing technique you used would be cool for a Leviathan axe
It definitely would!
Magnificent!
Fantastic
Awesome work! subscribed!
Thanks!
Thank you fort the template! This thing was quite the challenge, since I don't have the neopreme (had some wood glue) and half of my paints were dry, the thick foam was hard and the slim was floppy :D. So I'll have to do it again soon. The outcome became quite excitnig, so I'm happy. 😊
That's great! You can definitely use other materials instead of neoprene. I've seen people use white glue, wood glue, roof sealer, Mod Podge, or even just thick acrylic paint. They all work!
This technique is quite amazing to be honest. I'm planning to make a video for some texture stuff on cosplay an this will be in there for sure. :) @@ModulusProps
Knocking it out of the park with a first video! If you're at DragonCon again this year, I totally want to kick your brain over the Creature Cast. You use it so well.
Bravo, Nick!
*pick your brain. I don't plan to kick you. Promise...
Haha, thank you! Yep, I'll be at Dragon Con! Can't wait!
is 2020, and i love this... whay not more ?
Great video and great project! Watch out Bill, there's a new kid in town...
Haha! Thanks! I've got several hundred videos to go before I can catch up with Bill. :)
Wow that came out nice. Realism definitely comes with imperfections. Dented metal, rust, abrasions, patchy paint
Absolutely! :)
Im a big fan of your content, great work! I’ll probably find a way to make this out of steel later in the fall, I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes.
Awesome, I can't wait to see that!
Awesome build!! and free templates too......hmmmm...... :D
Thanks!
Welcome to youtube, i hope you'll have as awesome content as you have in instagram :P
Meraviglia bravissimo!!!
Thank you for letting us use the templates! I'm going to try making one soon
How do you only have 1k subs? This is so freaking epic
Thanks! I probably need more videos haha :D
Very good build Nick. Please build King Theoden's Helmet.
Waaaa, great work
a big thanks for the video and the plans
im make the helmet out of sheet steel.
simon
Whoah, awesome!
Man, I thought for sure that there would be more content to this channel. It seemed so refined and professional and the craftsmanship is fantastic. What happened?
More videos on the way!
@@ModulusProps That is excellent news! We definitely need more content like this on CZcams.
Now I want to make one!
Do it! :D
What an amazing video. Professional production quality. Really knowledgeable and VERY beginner friendly. Why does this channel only have 800 subs and a single video? This is the kind of video I would expect from a full time youtuber. Is there more like this? I visited your website but your last blog post was back from before this video by a mile...... How do I consume more of your content!?
Thanks for your comments! I only build props as a part-time hobby, my full-time job keeps me pretty busy. I have more video content on the way, though. In the meantime, you can always see my latest stuff on my Instagram and Facebook accounts.

Really incredible work! The cotton batting's such a clever idea and the final finish is incredibly convincing.
Did you give it any final seal to protect the paint job? Or would that dull the effect?
The helmet is not sealed. I usually try to avoid a final sealer if I can, because it can take depth out of the paint job when using a mix of glossy and flat colors.
Amazing, hope you stay interested in making props!
Very awesome build. New subscriber here👊
Looks like meats back on the menu boyz
the helmet was very good and I would like to make one, but I would like to know if it has the A4 sheet version.
I only have the 11x17 inch version right now, but you can use the poster feature in Adobe Acrobat Reader to tile it for a smaller page size.
Wouldn't mind seeing you do an Easterlings helmet
Great!
Thank you!
Really great, why don't you put a white hand on it? you don't have to, just thought a white hand would make it look a little cooler.(although it almost can't get any cooler)the cotton was a GREAT idea, and the finish was INCREDIBLE!!!!! Great build bro, gotta give it to ya on this one, bravo!(I love the Uruk-hai, so thanks for this upload).
Thank you! I actually already added the white hand :) You can see it here:

Wow!!!
More foam templates!!!
I love this! Giving it a go atm as my first ever! I can't find creature cast in the UK does anyone know of an alternative?
Cool
Looks like meats back on the menu boys
I made mine out of metal from your pattern a year ago:) so thanks
That's awesome!
WHAT?! YOU ONLY GOT 2 CONTENTS?! NOOOOOOOOOOO!! I NEED MORE! 😔 😔 😔
More videos on the way!
Great prop!!! Will you do the rest of the armour?
Thanks! I'm not planning the rest of the armor right now, but you never know. :)
@@ModulusProps The helmet is phenomenal!! You won my subscription!! Looking forward to the next project!!
