Cut-Rate Commander - Precon Upgrade Guide for the Enduring Enchantments & its face commander - Anikthea, Hand of Erebos - from Commander Masters #mtg #commander #edh #mtgcmm
Its looks like we're going back to Theros (or what's left of it after the Phyrexian Invasion) to meet the new ruler of the Underworld - Anikthea - who will demonstrate that she had what it takes to take her fallen masters place as the new warden of the death.
In this Precon Upgrade, we'll be building upon the base builds admittedly impressive Enchantress framework to improve its performance - primarily by adding in some powerful enchantment's that were omitted from the base build for us to hard cast or for our commander to reanimate for us, additional enchantment payoffs to generate even more value from the enchantments we cast/reanimate, and even adding in additional ways for us to take advantage of the token copies of our enchants that our commander creates - primarily through populate - to double up on their effects - giving us the tools we need to either overwhelm our opponents with our sea of tokens or instead crush them under the weight of our enchantments effects.

Your upgrades are so similar to mine for this deck. Wholeheartly agreed with all of them. I still love Omen of the Hunt more than Cultivate though just because you can later get it again and just synergize better with the ceck
Another great video! Every time i do an upgrade i make a huge spreadsheet starting with all of your upgrades//sidegrades and such. Then i go to a few other creators to see their ideas and consider those additions on the basis of cost/card availability/flavor. But you are the rock on which the city is built!!!
Of the four decks, this was the one that caught my attention the most. It's a shame the prices went up so much. If they had kept the price of the LotR decks, I would have certainly bought this. Excellent guide and video, as always.
These are down to ~$60 USD on TCG now. Not too bad! I wonder how much more they'll drop.

Really glad to see a heavy Token Theme with your build. A lot of people I’ve seen want to play her mainly as Recursion/Aristocrats, but that’s nowhere near as cool as a field of Enchantment Zombie Tokens.

Yayz! I bought this one (kinda regret it now) but the price aside the deck contains lots of enchantress staples.
I love black enchantments and was looking for a new commander so this deck was perfect. The price is currently too high for the precon, but I bet it will be near regular precon prices in weeks. I like your suggested upgrades! And like that this is a good base to go in many different directions.
A couple cards I like are Ratadrabik of Urborg (protection for our commander and making two copies her if she dies.). Plus support for legendary enchantments that are or we turn into creatures. Like an add I plan "Flowering of the white tree"
I would really like to see a Sauron, The Dark Lord build
Great video. Defenly i will buy this precon in future. What card what let you put lands from your hand when you play enchanment and later put creatures instead lands.
It speed up deck and great source of reaped ramp. You can stack triggers in this order:
Drawing card and when you put land or creature.( If is enchanment creature you can reap proces). I saw in different video how this combo let someone to win game.
A good sidegrade is asceticism since tokens can be regenerated :D, I put in an Abdel Adrian and Riftsweeper in mine so that I can return all the exiled cards back onto the library by using a flicker combo with Abdel.
Good suggestions! Asceticism mage the short list during testing for the same reason but was ultimately cut since I felt the build have enough protection, but I can easily see it slotting back in, and being able to recur our exiled enchantments to be sued again can certainly be useful to get even more value out of them!
Some cool ideas, I'm keeping narci since I will be adding more high value sagas, as well as a reanimation/grave robbing subtheme. There should be room for some populate though.

This was my precon of choice, I feel betrayed by the high price though so it will likely be my last precon for a while until one shows up that all magic youtubers say it's worth the price.
Solid swaps here, and it is good that the sagas and Narci is taken out, I wanted to build her too... perhaps a Narci deck tech in the future? :)
narci with the read ahead keyword on sagas is a good combi
How about familiar ground? It makes your enchantments unblockable, would you slot this in? And what would you cut if so?

Do you think God-Eternal Bontu would be a good card to add because you can choose what you want to sacrifice and you get card draw?
Ordered some of the recommendations. Now, we wait. Question though, have you ever done a Jetmir deck? I picked up the Cabaretti Cacophony precon but I'm having trouble with potential upgrades to swap out the commander to Jetmir.
Know it is a late response but search edhrec for jetmir. Prioritise cards that make lots of tokens or protect tokens and jetmir. Usually, if you have 8 tokens and play jetmir you can one-shot the entire table. I took it apart as it was both too powerful and boring to play imo.
Does this deck work without commander on field? I loved these commanders when i began EDH as it made sense to have a commander that utilizes all the cards in 99 but as i grew as a play i notice more and more now how much removal is in the game and how many turns i end up wasting to rebuild, whereas if plan b in the deck is always able to survive then i feel a little better

Rather odd that the Hand of (i.e. the chief servant of) Erebos would be Abzan.
Is vorniclex worth putting in to instantly get the ulti effect for planes walkers and doubling up the tokens
For sure, idk about this deck because you don’t have that many planeswalkers but it for sure should go in a tokens deck

I'd like to give Narci a chance at the polls (along with all the other alternate commanders for these precons) but with Wilds of Eldrain already on us and my backlog of commanders still there from pervious polls, we may have to skip them due to time constraints..... Sorry.
